Sam Tarry Goes After Starmer for “Dirty Tricks” Deselection

Former Shadow Transport Minister and deselected Labour MP Sam Tarry is ramping up his two-year-long battle against Labour HQ for what his allies calldirty tricks” in the selection process. Tarry has now submitted an official complaint to the party. At least his “soulmate” Angela Rayner supports him…

The Tarry campaign alleges that a highly suspicious number of people were not living at the addresses that they were registered to on the membership system when they voted to deselect him 58:42. This comes as the Met Police’s Cyber Crime unit begins an investigation into Labour’s chaotic Croydon selection process, which uses the same system. Anonyvoter is designed by Maddie Henson, a Labour wannabe London assembly candidate…

Aggrieved Labour staffers say the vast majority of candidates are stitched up while a central Labour official tells Guido, predictably: “Cranks claim conspiracy. Would you believe it.” Tarry might have to take this further than Labour’s complaints department if he wants to get anywhere…

Owen Jones Finally Leaves Labour

Corbynite luvvie Owen Jones has made a shock announcement in The Guardian – naturally – that he has cancelled his membership to the Labour party after 24 years. Cue cries of Labour adopting Tory economics and their stance on Gaza “adding moral indecency to dishonest & vacuity.” So brave…

Guido’s sure Starmer will be gutted with the news that he’ll no longer have the hard-left commentator parroting questionable arguments on his side. Boy Jones has instead set up a new campaign called We Deserve Better to supposedly “send Labour a message”. Guido wonders if he’s actually been looking at the polls…

He may already have fallen at the first hurdle though. On the website, which calls on his comrades to cough up some cash, there’s no cookie policy and their disclaimer is invalid. Looking forward to a lawsuit from Jolyon…

Dog Abuser Working on Policy for Labour Candidate

Josh Macalister, Labour candidate for West Cumbria, is keeping strange company in his office. Recently elected policy officer for the Whitehaven & Workington Labour Party, Mari Stanford, has a chequered past. She’s gone to some work to hide her identity…

Mari Stanford looks awfully similar to Marie Staniforth, the 32-year-old locked up by magistrates in 2016 for neglecting an innocent dog. The white lurcher, Charlie, was found starved and emaciated before the RSPCA found him and described him as “the skinniest dog seen alive“. Staniforth was jailed and barred from keeping animals for life…

Who would trust a woman like that to craft “charismatic” Labour policy and campaign with them?

Met Police Investigating Labour Over Voting Fraud Allegations

Politics is a dirty game. Since Labour’s candidate selection process in Croydon East was cancelled in November over allegations of vote rigging and irregularities in the Anonyvoter online voting system, the police have got involved. Local news website Inside Croydon has spoken to the Met, which has confirmed it is investigating:

We have received allegations of computer misuse in relation to an internal selection process for a political party in Croydon during October and November last year. The Met’s Cyber Crime team are investigating and enquiries are ongoing.

Trade unionist Joe Bodmer, who allegedly violated the rules by accessing the confidential CLP membership list before the selection process opened, has “withdrawn” himself from the new shortlist. The Information Commissioner’s Office has already confirmed it is investigating the local party’s story. Crime doesn’t pay as well as politics…

Reform Poll Just 1.5 Points Behind Tories With Young Voters

While rumours swirl in SW1 of various Tory plots to oust Sunak, despite his claims that this year will be a “bounce-back year” for the government, latest polling continues to show the public aren’t convinced. Deltapoll’s latest figures pin Labour with a 23 percentage point lead, polling at 46% to the Tory’s measly 23%. Surprise, surprise…

Meanwhile, Reform UK hit third in the polls at 12%. More interestingly, for under 35-year-olds, Reform are only 1.5 percentage points behind the Tories, polling at 5.5% for the youths compared to 7% for the Tories. It’s no shock to the system that 70% of under-35s would vote Labour, though it shows Reform aren’t just hitting home with the more right-of-centre over-65s. It’s not about the next election but the next generation, as they say…

Will Labour Return £540,000 Donation from Fascist?

Since Labour are demanding that the Tories return donations from dubious donors, Guido thought it might be relevant to draw attention to their donations from the fascist thug Max Mosley. Guido looked into the archive and found a total of £540,000 donated by the one-time fascist activist. In 2017 he was the Labour Party’s biggest single donor.

Here’s Mosley getting arrested after a punch up with a policeman:

After it was revealed that he had said and done some unsavoury things the Labour Party stopped taking his donations and he focused his financial support on Byline Times. Anneliese Dodds, Labour Party Chairwoman, is demanding the Tories return  Frank Hester’s donations. Maybe she can set an example by doing the same with Mosley’s moolah
