The government chief whip in the Lords Roy Kennedy told the Labour parliamentary committee that there will be no more days given to legislate on the bill, which needs to pass before the King’s Speech and the end of this parliamentary session in May. If it doesn’t, the legislative process needs to start all over again. No assistance from the government on this one…
