Vocal Labour backbencher Jonathan Brash has deleted an X post which read:
“Public sector workers use their income to pay FOR the private sector. The state is one of the biggest procurers of the private sector. It wouldn’t exist without tax payers. People creating the divide between public and private genuinely don’t understand how an economy works.”
He has kept another up in which he attacks Richard Tice for pointing out the public sector is bloated: “The ‘bloated public sector’ – hear that all you teachers, nurses and care workers.” Remember when Reeves tried to teach Labour MPs basic economics…
Lord Khan in the Telegraph: “I hope, and I say this in a non-pompous way, that the public service I do will bring rewards in this world and the hereafter,” he says. “I’m hoping the work I do is earning me Brownie points.”
