  8. 8
    Anonymous says:

some logic in Saudi, but how was AQ working with Mossad ever logical

  9. 9
    Shocker says:

Galloway is a bellend but is it really implausible that Assad’s enemies might have tried to incriminate him?

  10. 10
    Dr Faustus says:

Be in awe. Anyone who can get themselves expelled from the Labour Party for being “disgraceful and wrong” has special powers.

  11. 11
Carry Hole is a porcine homunculus says:

Not at all, as he was on the verge of wiping them out before this helpful event happened.

Saudi’s are also my #1 guess for whodunnit.

  12. 12

Ayeee my theory is or rather my new theory is ‘Little Green Men from Mars’. Innit?

  13. 13
Carry Hole is a porcine homunculus says:

Some of the syrian “rebel”s caused this.

  14. 14
    Anonymous says:

I saw the whole programme and I thought he wiped the floor with her and most of what he said about the middle east was correct (as usual). Sorry, I bet that is very unpopular on here.

  15. 15
    Paniagua v5 says:

Bloody hell a fish that looks like the shadow minister for public health

  16. 16
    Nendi Kagasko says:

America, UK are Jet propelled hypocrites who will sell anything to anybody for ££££’s or advantage, that includes gas, mines, cluster bombs, plague. The proof is below. It’s not so inconceivable that this would be through one of it’s allies…

America ‘helped Iraq get chemical weapons:

“…The CIA had already warned that Iraq was using chemical weapons almost daily. But Mr Rumsfeld, at the time a successful executive in the pharmaceutical industry, still made it possible for Saddam to buy supplies from American firms.
They included viruses such as anthrax and bubonic plague, according to the Washington Post….”

  17. 17
    Nendi Kagasko says:

He was instructed to do this. He gave his payment to charity, what have you done for charity?

  18. 18
    Noddy says:

    It was the naughty gollies!

  19. 19
    Dr Strangelove says:

I was just looking to send a >2Kg parcel via post and it was about 15 to 30 quid depending. myhermes offer to collect it from wherever and deliver for a fiver. difficult decision.

I wish to sincerely apologise to the Syrians in my timeline for our moral apathy and indifference to human suffering. #notinmyname

  24. 24
    Sir William Waid says:

The Qataris would be up for it, too. If they can fix the World Cup, they are well used to dealing with corrupt megalomaniacs.

  25. 25
    Fluffy Thoughts says:

Any fule knows that Allah gave them the weapons. What kind of Muzzie does Galloway think he is…?

  26. 26
    Nogbad the Bad says:

Not really, the BBC vs. Galloway is a bit like Liverpool vs. United, a shame they both can’t lose. Much of what Galloway says is true, but then he destroys any credibility by coming out with a “theory” about Isra el supplying Alkyada with chemical weapons, and makes himself look an idiot. Unfortunately he will get re-elected by his audience in Bradford because he tells them what they want to hear.

  27. 27
    UKIP or bust says:

And what did he do with the media exposure (which includes the cynical act of announcing your giving money to charity) that raised his profile in the mind of the folk that watch this stuff?

  28. 28
How low they have sunk says:

Galloway and Putin have been much more credible than Cameron and Obama.

  29. 29
    Say what? says:

So I understand you correctly. The BBC is crap because a presenter was rude to a far left MP?

    Keep taking the pills.

  30. 30
    Nendi Kagasko says:

Indeed. One minute your happily buying your sarin, next minute yer dangling from a noose..

“On November 1, 1983, a full month before Mr Rumsfeld’s visit to Baghdad, Secretary of State George Shultz was officially informed that the CIA had discovered Iraqi troops were resorting to ‘almost daily use of chemical weapons’ against the Iranians.
Nevertheless, Mr Rumsfeld arranged for the Iraqis to receive billions of pounds in loans to buy weapons and CIA Director William Casey used a Chilean front company to supply Iraq with cluster bombs.
At the very least, it is highly embarrassing for 70-year-old Mr Rumsfeld, who is the most powerful and vocal of all the hawks surrounding President Bush.”

  31. 31
    Dr Faustus says:

They included viruses such as anthrax and bubonic plague, according to the Washington Post…

Anthrax and bubonic plague are diseases caused by bacteria, not viruses. Otherwise, nearly a jolly authoritative statement by the Daily Mail/Washington Post.

  32. 32
    Nendi Kagasko says:

Nice of you to single him out, seeing as he doesn’t get lobby money for promotion: for example pushing windmills or GMO’s or the will of the unions or some other nasty corporation

  33. 33
    Bradfordistan says:

I though Jo Coburn did a fine job. He deserves to be treated with contempt.

  34. 34
Call centre 'security' questions wind me up says:

It comes to something when I have to agree with a statement like that, but I would be being dishonest if I were to claim otherwise. What a sorry pass.

  35. 35
    Old Blue Eyes says:

You’re all wrong – it was Ken Dodd and he got the comical weapons from comical Ali.

  36. 36
    Yeah, right... says:

probably not but they will be unlikely allies if it all kicks off with Iran.

  37. 37
    Shadow In The Dark says:

The situation in the Middle East is far, far murkier and convoluted than the MSM soundbites portray.

As for who did what, why and when – all theories remain feasible.

  38. 38
    Bradfordistan says:

You’re happy to support someone who praised Ahmadinejad among various other murderous lunatics?

  39. 39
    Nendi Kagasko says:

Perhaps, the Guardian has higher standards of biological knowledge that you demand?

“…A 1994 congressional inquiry also found that dozens of biological agents, including various strains of anthrax, had been shipped to Iraq by US companies, under licence from the commerce department.

Furthermore, in 1988, the Dow Chemical company sold $1.5m-worth (£930,000) of pesticides to Iraq despite suspicions they would be used for chemical warfare.

The only occasion that Iraq’s use of banned weapons seems to have worried the Reagan administration came in 1988, after Lt Col Francona toured the battlefield on the al-Faw peninsula in southern Iraq and reported signs of sarin gas…”

  40. 40
    Yeah, right... says:

And did Hermes make you stand in a queue for half a hour?

  41. 41
    Lexander says:

Galloway comes out with the usual bollocks and then we have a load of comments which are almost equally a load of bollocks. Ignore the stupid sod.

  42. 42
    Bradfordistan says:

And who was it that supported every evil act by Rumsfeld, Cheney and Bush? Let’s see…his name…it began with T…he was the Labour leader…got it! Tony Blair! Labour Prime Minister. From Labour. Because, as we all know, when Labour does something, it’s OK.

  43. 43
    Blowing Whistles says:

I hear that Prince William is to switch from his military job and to devote some time to ‘endangered species’ umm …

Well he couldn’t do worse than to go hunting for the endangered species’ – the rare and lesser spotted honest msm hack working “In The Public Interest” or

the lesser spotted honest politician with a spine working “In The Public Interest” too?

  44. 44
    Point of Information 6 says:

But the BBC’s theory was that Assad used CW against his own people has no evidence either.

Why did the BBC invite him on to talk if he was not invited as an expert ?

    From UN report:

’20. Influential Sunn! clerics from several Arab States, including Saud! Arab!a and Egypt, called on Sunn!s to join the j!had against the Government of the Syr!an Arab Republic and its supporters. Appeals, echoing an earlier call made by Al-Qa!da leader Zawah!ri, urged that money and weapons be provided to anti-government armed groups. ‘

Doesn’t prove supply of CW, but is confirmation that weapons to insurgents are sourcing from Saud!.

7 countries are currently not party to CWC:

Signed, but not ratified: B’urma, !srael
    Not Signed: A’ngola, North K’orea, E’gypt, South S’udan, Syr!a

This WorldTribune article by Bodansky (GIS Defense/ Foreign Affairs) is probably Galloway’s source:

CW Inspectors report may be able to confirm that Sar!n used on Aug 21 was not military grade, and consensus is forming in foreign policy / defense circles that Saud! Arab!a is the likely source.

George was not spouting a conspiracy theory.

The BBC are perhaps behind events?

  45. 45
Tooting Tony from Doha now says:

    Hello Bill

You should widen the net a bit. I take payoffs from every Gulf state

BTW, if you need an upgrade, ask my old leaker Guido to sell you a Life Peerage – only about 100 grand nowadays. Market rate has dropped considerably since we packed the House with vermin

  46. 46
    Nendi Kagasko says:

    @ Bradfordistan

We are were are in Iran because of western interference. I guess, you must support that, for example: Kermit The CIA sponsored coupe.

As for murderous lunatics, is the red carpet and the Queenie not rolled out for some of the most repugnant tyrants to whom we supply weapony.

    Just hypocrisy buddy…

  47. 47
    Nendi Kagasko says:

    “Kermit the CIA man”

  48. 48
    Penfold says:

    Smear, smear, smear.

Galloway gets his paint brush out and just slaps away.

He just hates everyone and everything, other than his paymasters at PressTV.

  49. 49
  50. 50

  56. 56
    The Dalai Lamppost says:

The world is full of people who hate. He is not the only one.

  57. 57
You couldn't make it up! says:

No , the “usual bollocks ” comes from the BBC and MSM . Where is the evidence against Assad- other than presumption. Galloway comes out with the “unusual bollocks!

  58. 58
Frankly I don't give a fuck about middle eastern dogmatic loons says:

In this country you don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to know who’s behind raping under age girls, blowing up tube trains and decapitating off duty soldiers.

  59. 59
    Point of Information 6 says:

To be fair he was very much off the mark with the !srael theory.

But as !srael have not ratified CWC just yet, there was slight credibility to the idea.

  60. 60
    Engineer says:

Bradford is run by Saudi Arabia?

No, but the countries that DO run Bradford are in a similar geo-political area to Saudi.

  61. 61

But the people of Bradford that vote for him – what kind are they.

So what has changed in that good city that people would elect someone who makes Himler look mild.

It just shows how the BBC is out of control. Coburn had her own agenda and it showed. Very poor to show it so clearly.

  66. 66
    Nendi Kagasko says:

Yeah, ‘conspiracy theories’ with invoices, orders, official testimony and banking evidence.
Dave and Tony loves you, they always tells the truth now, go back to sleep.

  67. 67
    New world order says:

Oh dear poor didn’t get his war in the middle east . Well Toupee Kerry and G.ay boy Hague can get stu’fed . We don’t want it. No more British lads for sud.i oil and 2ionist w’nkers.

  68. 68
    Lord Sir Domly Dom says:

So you want to kill Syrians to change the balance between the evil Syrians killing Syrians and the really evil Syrians and foreigners, killing Syrians?

There are no good guys to help in Syria. It is a vile and extremely violent civil war between two really evil and violent sides.

The only way to intervene to save Syria, would be to invade and occupy it and that option is not on anyone’s overt agenda and the resulting war would kill far more Syrians than the current war.

It is NOT moral apathy. It is acceptance that there is NOTHING GOOD that we can do to help militarily. ALL other military options are very likely to have a much worse outcome for the Syrian people than only sending aid to help refugees and giving a big push to the international diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire, the removal of chemical weapons from both the Assad Regime and all the rebel groups and a continuous push for a negotiated peace.

  69. 69

We don’t want racist scum on our site.

  72. 72
    Independent assessor says:

There are crazy things wrong with George Galloway like his strong advocacy for both Islam and same sex marriage. However with this he is right and of course as with most things other than tomorrow’s weather the BBC is wrong.
As a theory, chemical weapons could reasonably have been supplied to the rebels by Israel, CIA, MI6, French intelligence or the Saudis. Galloway chose Israel as his preferred theory. Since then information has come to light that it was most likely the Saudis that supplied the chemical weapons to the rebels.

  73. 73

Just like the idiot who posts here every day about 2ionists.

Its a mental disorder that requires them to go around telling others.

  77. 77
    Dr Faustus says:

Invoices, orders, official testimony and banking evidence that an American, or British ally sold Sarin to al Qaeda to use in Syria?

The Force is strong with this one…

  78. 78

Oil for Food Program.’

Galloway fingered on the BBC website – surprised he hasn’t sued because of course it’s all lies.

Any comments from his supporters on this?

FACT : The BBC is NEVER right about tomorrows or indeed TODAYS weather .

Just listen to Radio Five Dead at 4.27 am every morning .
When they re not forgetting to run the weather forecast completely either because the mong presenter has overrun or because the whole schedule has been dropped by some asinine decision to relay LIVE every moment of a dullard sporting event that is taking place on the other side of the world — which a Producer with a sliver of intelligence would have availed on radio 5 sports extra so only the anoraks need listen — they are eulogising about weather events in every country and hemisphere other than the british isles .
when they realise they are supposed to be covering
Blighty they have again overrun and have 30 seconds to give a detailed weather forecast for the coming day which by definition tells no one anything and confuses worse confounds .

Thank god the bbc licence fee IN THEORY only covers visual and not audio output . at least we can claim we are getting this ordure for free ….

  102. 102

Guido seems to have fallen for the propaganda of Hague and Kerry hook, line and sinker. You don’t have to like Galloway to know that he has a point regarding the Saudis. Dale Gavlak, an experienced reporter on Middle Eastern affairs, said pretty much the same thing after she interviewed witnesses and rebel supporters at the location of the gas attack. The article she wrote appeared on the Mint Press website, which became jammed with the number of people accessing the site to read the article.

Gavlak wrote that a number of people, including the father of a rebel fighter killed when the gas was released, admitted the rebels had received cylinders of poison gas from Saudi Prince Bandar al Saud, without being told what they were. The rebels, including the interviewee’s son, mishandled the cylinders and accidentally activated the release of the gas.

The Saudis have been active in destabilising the Middle East for years. Bandar is Intelligence Chief of the Saudi government and is well in with the CIA. He has also been funding the rebels in Syria from the start.

It certainly makes more sense than the story of Assad deciding to use gas, giving the Yanks the excuse to attack him and the West to turn against him, even though he was winning the civil war.

Don’t forget also that UN Inspector, Carla del Potro, went public with her view that the rebels were responsible for an earlier gas attack in Alleppo, one month earlier.

You shouldn’t discount the message just because you don’t like the messenger.

Galloway can be puzzlingly stupid, and yet is a brilliant orator. His demolition of the Senate committees that accused him of taking bribes from Saddam was a tour de force.

If he’s keeping New Labour out though who can be sad about that?

How interesting that I should re-read this blog at about 21:20 pm (working my way down the comments) when I note Grrr – and his ‘incandescence and rage’ starts to make several comments? He/She soon stopped commenting – while of course He/She continually tries to blame ‘one commenter’ on here in particular.

    I say no more.

George Galloway says of his former Respect candidate the UKIP MEP turned Tory, Amjad Bashir…

“Clearly Bashir does not have any real political principles or commitment, only naked opportunism and self-interest. He represents the revolving door principle in politics. The Tories are welcome to him because he will cause them embarrassment. Fortunately Respect was able to act before he did it to us.”
