Salma Yaqoob Deletes all ‘Anti-Zionist’ Tweets

The hard left’s choice for Labour’s West Midland mayoral candidate, Salma Yaqoob, has been caught deleting hoards of Tweets, all of which contain the word Zionist. Yaqoob’s move to cover-up her past comments comes after it was revealed earlier this week she pushed a Rothschild conspiracy – a Tweet she has also since deleted. At some point, Owen Jones and others will surely have to retract their endorsements

The selection of tweets – which were preemptively archived in the name of politically transparency – include Yaqoob saying Zionists are active in promoting imperial wars; spoke of “Zionist crimes”; said “Zionist supporters can’t win moral argument”; called ‘Zionists’ heartless; and in a tweet to Theresa May’s former Chief of Staff, Gavin Barwell, used the phrase “O go away u Zionist troll”.

Based on other Tweets from Yaqoob’s account that still exist, it is clear she and her team have deliberately targetted the word Zionist in the deleting spree. Did anyone think George Galloway’s former party leader wouldn’t come with this baggage?

Salma Yaqoob’s Hamas Supporting Associate

Today Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott endorsed Salma Yaqoob as “a long standing [sic] ally of the LGBTQ community”. This is despite the wannabe candidate and former Respect Party leader calling homosexuality “a choice of lifestyle” on national TV, criticising LGBT inclusive education in the Parkfield School dispute, and acting as a spokesperson for a leading member of the Islamic Party of Britain which among its policy platform supports the death penalty for homosexuality. If she were a Tory Labour would be up in arms…

Guido can reveal that Yaqoob has long had an association with Yvonne Ridley, sharing a platform with her on multiple occasions. They clearly get on well.

Highlights from Yvonne include saying “Victory to Hamas!”, “the Zionists have tentacles everywhere”, and declaring “Milliband is a gutless, little weasel who lost more than his foreskin when he was circumcised.” Despite all this, from Owen Jones to Grace Blakely, the Labour Left continue to rally behind Yaqoob…

Salma Yaqoob Shared Rothschild Conspiracy Theory Website

Salma Yaqoob is the Corbynites’ favourite to become Labour’s candidate for West Midlands. The former Respect Party candidate – accused of intimidation and homophobia – has been endorsed by Owen Jones, Jon Lansman, and Momentum. Yaqoob has previously supported the pro-Hamas ‘Viva Palestina’ convoy, made up part of the campaign team which supported the family of Abu Hamza, and wrote an article in which she imagined Britain becoming an Islamic Republic…

Now Guido can reveal that Yaqoob has also egged on the Rothschild conspiracy theory – a trope that even Momentum admit is anti-semitic.

In 2013 the wannabe candidate linked on Twitter to conspiratorial website about “Rothschild bankers” in Iceland and London, which itself pointed readers to a longer article hitting out at Rothschild “banking puppets”, asks readers to “End [the] New World Order”, and praises Viktor Orban’s Hungarian Government for “Kill[ing] The Rothschild Banks”. She is favourite to win the selection…

Salma Yaqoob Plagiarises Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Campaign

Momentum’s pick to be the next Labour candidate for West Midlands Metro-Mayor has put out some pretty professional looking material. But sadly for former Respect Party leader Salma Yaqoob, virtually none of it is her own work. Her main campaign video is completely ripped off from the US Democrats’ new socialist firebrand AOC…

Yaqoob isn’t the first Labour politician to nakedly plagiarise US Democrats. Disgraced Labour MP Kate Osamor stole her campaign victory speech from President Obama, and plagiarised her maiden speech. Plenty of Labour Party precedent…

Across the pond Joe Biden plagiarising Neil Kinnock’s ‘first in my family’ speech destroyed his presidential hopes in 1987. Sadly Guido somehow doubts it will do the same to the Momentum backed candidate…

For our American readers, Guido thought an introduction to Yaqoob was in order:

The Corbynisation of the Democratic Party is not all one way…

Labour Vote Split in Bradford

Former Respect leader Salma Yaqoob is running as an independent against Labour’s Naz Shah in Bradford West (majority 11,420). In one sense Yaqoob is fighting a straightforward grudge match against Shah, who ousted Yaqoob’s former colleague George Galloway in 2015 (though Yaqoob denies it’s all about just getting Galloway’s own back for him). Salma’s candidacy has turned Bradford into an interesting three-way race…

Last week independent Khadim Hussain withdrew his candidacy to endorse Yaqoob, which shows she is making deals on the ground, and it is certain she will split Shah’s vote to some degree. Guido now hears that some former Labour activists have been attracted away from Shah by Yaqoob, who has also been positioning herself as a Corbynista of sorts and – having shared many an anti-war platform – is well-connected to Corbyn himself, who was once rumoured to be lining her up for a Labour seat. Tory George Grant is likely to pick up the modest UKIP vote and would of course benefit from a nationwide swing to the Tories (before Galloway the Tories were the second party in the constituency). Salma will damage Naz, but by how much?

“Stop Trump” Rally Hijacked By Anti-Semites and Extremists

If you are going to organise a rally protesting against Donald Trump, you should probably try to make sure it isn’t hijacked by cranks, extremists and anti-Semites. Alas, the speakers at this afternoon’s “Stop Trump” rally in Westminster are a roll call of wrong ‘uns…

Salma Yaqoob

While a Respect Party councillor in Birmingham, Yaqoob infamously refused to join applause for George Cross-winning war hero Lance Corporal Matt Croucher. L/Cpl Croucher threw himself on top of a Taliban grenade in Helmand in 2008, saving the lives of his colleagues. As decorated Croucher entered the council chamber, Yaqoob sat with her arms crossed.

Malia Bouattia (NUS President)

Disgraced Bouattia says the government’s anti-terror programme Prevent is fuelled by a “Zionist lobby“, has ranted about the “Zionist-led media” and has described the University of Birmingham as a “Zionist outpost“. She also refused to acknowledge the right of the State of Israel to exist during a Channel 4 News interview last year. Professor Carol Baxter, the NHS’s former head of equality, diversity and human rights, carried out a probe into Bouattia’s comments and found they “could be reasonably capable of being interpreted as anti-Semitic”. Rumours are circulating that she could be ousted from the NUS this week.

Asad Rehman (Friends of the Earth)

Asad Rehman is Friends of the Earth’s “international climate campaigner” but he engages on a variety of issues outside his realm of expertise: Rehman has tweeted his belief that Netanyahu and Israel are “best pals” with ISIS. He advocates banning “Zionist organisations” from climate change events. Real piece of work.

Murad Qureshi (Chair, Stop the War Coalition)

The West-hating Stop the War has praised the “internationalism and solidarity of ISIS”, blamed the French for the Paris terror attacks and refuses to oppose Russian bombing of Syria. Qureshi feebly claimed his organisation could not protest against Putin because the Russian Embassy is on a private road. As Peter Tatchell says of Qureshi’s group: “The Stop the War Coalition is in moral meltdown… over its one-sided Syria protests and its persistent failure to listen to appeals from democratic, anti-war and civil society activists inside Syria.”

Way to completely discredit your anti-Trump protest.

Labour MP Warns Corbyn Over Salma Yaqoob

A fight is brewing in Birmingham Labour. On Sunday Guido reported on speculation that disgraced former Respect leader Salma Yaqoob is being lined up by Jeremy Corbyn for a Labour seat. Readers will remember her as the Stop the War loony who refused to applaud an Afghanistan war hero awarded the George Cross for diving on to a grenade and saving the lives of four fellow soldiers. Local lefties are tipping her to run in veteran MP Roger Godsiff’s Birmingham Hall Green constituency. Well, Godsiff has now hit back with a punchy warning to his leader. He’s not going down without a fight.

“I have made it perfectly clear that I won’t be retiring at the next election.

I will be more than happy to remain as the Member for Birmingham Hall Green as long as the members and people of Hall Green want me to.

I would point out however that at the last general election my majority went up from 3,700 to 19,818.

I had a swing from Tory to Labour of 12.2%, the highest in the country, and I got into the book of records for UK elections with the highest increase since 1945 in the Labour vote in any one election.”

A pretty robust warning to the Corbynistas that he won’t be carted off quietly. One to watch…

Salma Yaqoob in Hijab Porn Shock

yaqoob hijab

Salma Yaqoob, the loony former leader of Respect, came to prominence as the hijab wearing Muslim woman elected to Birmingham city council. Yaqoob has just followed @DesiCruise10inc on Twitter, a porn account dedicated to posting adult pictures of “babes” wearing hijabs. Very adult (NSFW).

“The hijab is not about the denial of female (or male) sexuality. Quite the opposite… the aim of hijab is to de-emphasise sexuality in public interactions, whilst encouraging sexuality in private ones.” – Salma Yaqoob

Not sure if that’s haram…
