Expelled Labour Members Considering Forming New Party

Thousands of far-left loons are considering forming a new party following their expulsion from Labour last week. Members of Labour Against the Witch-Hunt – one of four groups purged by Starmer for claiming the party’s antisemitism crisis was overstated – can be seen discussing the plans in an emergency Zoom meeting held on Saturday, during which they claim:

  • Their expulsion proves “we have been a thorn in the side of the Labour Party Right, and we should take that as a compliment.”
  • Starmer has been “pandering directly to the establishment“, and the far-left should capitalise on Labour’s impending collapse.
  • The “biggest party in Britain today is the ex-Labour Party. People who’ve been expelled, people who’ve been suspended.”
  • A new socialist party “is coming into creation, that will have the energy and the vitality that the Corbyn party was beginning to show that it had”.

The group are also planning to hold an event in Brighton at the same time as Labour Party conference (in what they’re affectionately calling a kind of “Counter-Conference“). One voice on the call even floated the idea of “forcing” Jeremy Corbyn to become their leader…

Labour’s NHS Pay Policy Confusion

Under Keir Starmer, Labour’s stance on NHS pay is unclear; Shadow Cabinet members have variously called for a 2.1%, 12.5%, and 15% pay rise, with different ministers backing and rejecting a nurses’ strike. So once again, nobody actually knows what Labour precisely stands for now the government has accepted the official advice and awarded a 3% rise…

On March 7, 2021 Labour demanded “at least” a 2.1% pay rise for nurses whilst refusing to take a position on exactly how much the rise should be. Starmer equivocated three times over how much he would give NHS workers in an interview on March 5, saying:

“They [nurses] need a fair rise in pay above inflation to be properly recognised and rewarded for what they’ve put in the last 12 months”.

However, Keir told LBC today that the government’s proposed 3% pay rise was “not enough” and “not fair”. Not only that, Labour’s Mark Drakeford has also backed a 3% pay rise for Welsh NHS staff. So no one – perhaps not even Starmer – knows if  a 3% pay rise is really unacceptable to Labour or not…

Later on LBC, Starmer described a 15% pay increase as “high”, contradicting the far-left Labour MPs led by John McDonnell, who argued that the party should back the eye-watering 15% rise.

Further, it remains completely unclear whether Labour will back a nurses’ strike or not. Jon Ashworth previously refused to rule out backing industrial action by NHS staff, saying“I will always support our nurses”, yet on LBC this morning Starmer stated “nobody wants to see strike action.” Labour’s lack of a clear direction is confusing everyone, even its own leadership…

Where Was Sam Tarry?

London’s flooding last night hit the North particularly badly, not least in Ilford where local MP Wes Streeting and council leader Jas Athwal were out helping residents in the worst affected homes. Fresh off the heels of quelling local ‘rainbow dildo butt monkey’ anger…

Some Labour sources were quite irked at one notable no-show: Sam Tarry, MP for Ilford South. Unlike Ilford North residents who saw their MP out and about last night, all Tarry’s voters got was a quote tweet. Constituents on Facebook have had no update. Given Tarry’s shadow transport spokesperson role, co-conspirators may even have presumed the TfL chaos might have warranted a comment.

Some locals begged the question, therefore, where was Sam last night? Could it have been he was, in fact, staying in his £600,000 three-bedroom Brighton houseAdmittedly his family home may not be the best venue to avoid being in deep water

UPDATE: Tarry’s office has emailed in to claim the briefings to Guido were “completely inaccurate” and the MP did do a tour of the constituency “immediately after the torrential rain yesterday”. Very unlike Tarry not to splash his visit across social media…

The office also claims Ilford South “didn’t suffer flooding like elsewhere in Redbridge”, which is peculiar given the below scenes on Cranbrook Road yesterday – firmly within Tarry’s constituency:

Labour Using ‘Fire & Rehire’ Tactics to Stabilise Finances

With Labour quickly running out of money, it looks like the party is now resorting to tactics Sir Keir had previously labelled “against British values” just to keep the ship afloat. New reports show that, despite their own calls back in May to ban “fire and rehire” practices, Labour are now recruiting staff on temporary contracts with weaker employment rights than its permanent workforce – whilst simultaneously announcing mass redundancies to get “fighting fit for upcoming campaigns and the next general election”…

The new hires will be placed on 6 month contracts, and asked to bring their own laptop and anti-virus software as they investigate complaints against party members. A senior Labour MP said:

“Sacking individuals and hiring others with worse wages, terms and conditions are the actions of the worst of the very worst employers.”

That the party is cutting corners shouldn’t come as a surprise: last week it was revealed their financial reserves are now down to just one month’s payroll owing to “lost members and dealing with antisemitism cases.” What’s more surprising is how quickly they turned to a practice their own deputy leader insisted should be “outlaw[ed] it without any further delay”…

Covid Cases Trending Down

We have had false dawns before, we have had statistical aberrations, we have been given optimistic signals only to have them snatched away by this cursed virus. The case trend this last week is clear. Could the doomsters and gloomsters be proved wrong? Or is this just a post-Euros* pop drop?

*Did you notice Piers Morgan caught covid at Wembley?
