Georgescu shocked many when he came out of nowhere and won the first round of Romania’s presidential election two weeks ago. According to declassified Romanian intelligence documents, Georgescu had a TikTok campaign mirroring the influence operations run by the Kremlin in Ukraine and Moldova.
