As it turns out the GLA is also spaffing taxpayer cash on brand insights for its social media accounts. A Freedom of Information request has revealed that marketing firm Brandwatch – which obviously makes a big deal of its commitment to diversity and inclusion – is paid £32,835 on an annual basis for social media ‘listening’ with the current contract running until December.
