Starmer has been asked about Chinese spy H6 at a press conference in Norway:
“Of course we are concerned about the challenge that China poses. Our approach as you know I had a meeting with the president just a few weeks ago, our approach is one of engagement, of cooperating where we need to cooperate, particularly for example on issues like climate change, to challenge where we must and where we should, particularly on issues like human rights, and to compete when it comes to trade. So that’s the strategic approach that we’ve set out as a UK government I’m not going to comment on on Buckingham Palace or the Royal side.”
Word salad with no condemnation of the Chinese spy and an immediate pivot to cooperation on climate change. Labour’s China tilt is looking more like a bad idea by the minute…
Red Wall Labour backbencher Jonathan Brash told GB News that Starmer should resign:
“I’m completely fed up about it, and I think it’s got to the point now where I genuinely think that, as far as the Prime Minister is concerned, it’s not a case of if, it’s when.”
