In his bizarre latest trip to the Gulf, Keir “Jet” Starmer is proving his appetite for airborne travel. His escapade has pushed him well over the 150-hour mark for flight time since he became PM…
According to Guido’s rolling tracker Starmer has reached 159 hours and 46 minutes in the air. That’s one working month spent on planes – out of five in office so far…
Keir is particularly fond of the UK government’s Airbus A321, which happens to produce approximately about 7.33 tonnes of CO₂ per airborne hour – so Starmer has puffed out 1,173 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide since the general election. The average UK citizen produces 10 tonnes per year. The PM’s jet-setting alone has outdone 117 Brits’ annual share of polluting in five months. Guido can think of one way to help get to that net zero target…
UPDATE: Guido has updated Starmer’s full Gulf airtimes as well as his ongoing random trip to Norway. Total time airborne: 169 hours and 15 minutes.
