A Law Society backed initiative called ‘The First 100 Years’ published a timeline celebrating the achievements of women connected to the law profession. The list included former solicitor Nicola Sturgeon, Shami Chakrabarti and Guido’s favourite, Baroness Scotland. As Guido reported two weeks ago a certain female Tory barrister was missing. Subsequently confronted with the omission the team compiling the list has now added the first female PM to her rightful place. On the 26th anniversary of her resignation the Iron Lady is back. First Blair, now Thatcher. When will Disraeli return to the scene?
