Jez, John and Fidel at May Day March

London’s May day marches are famous for displaying large banners and images celebrating communist dictators, and this year is no exception. Kicking off the festivities this year will be Cuban ambassador Teresita Vincente, who is presenting a portrait of Fidel Castro to the Marx Memorial Library in Clerkenwell at 11:30am on Sunday. Corbyn and McDonnell will be addressing the public on Clerkenwell Green immediately after, allowing the crowds to hear from their very own bearded far left leader.
