Which potential Tory leadership candidates have the best name recognition with the public? BBC gameshow Pointless asked a hundred members of its studio audience to name as many current Cabinet ministers as possible. 42% had heard of George Osborne, the second best-known name after Dave. 24/100 managed to name Michael Gove. Nine knew Nicky Morgan. Two out of the hundred could name Priti Patel, which is actually a relatively good score compared to many colleagues.
