Two researchers from the Department of Health offshoot Public Health England published a review on the effects of climate change on vector-borne diseases and headline writers across the world have gone nuts. Apparently Britain is about to be overrun by swarms of malaria ridden mosquitoes.
A quick peruse through the report reveals that even if the researcher’s wild estimation of a 5ºC increase in temperature by 2030 comes to pass, they still think “sustained transmission of the malaria parasite is still unlikely.”
Why is everyone making it so easy for the alarmist nutters?
