WebCameron is the culmination of “THE FLY” project Guido first reported on in March. Launched (in Beta form) this weekend they had some server issues coping with the demand and the website crashed. Nevertheless it is a good looking site with some interesting interactivity features not yet enabled. The expected weekly videos will emphasise the Cameron brand, emphasising his likeable personality in contrast to Gordon. The first video shows him at the kitchen sink, with the kids screaming, his clean politics video shows him having tea with the kids and Samantha. It is hard to imagine Gordon Brown credibly doing the same.

In fact he has a dig at Brown whilst praising Blair in this video. The site is all Cameron, it doesn’t have any Conservative party imagery on it. Brand Cameron is the focus.
