Guido has counted and the
The Times now claims to have
forty-four blogs on the go, but until now it has not sought to emulate the
Guardian’s piss-poor
Comment is Free. So the news that the
Times has launched a rival
Comment Central filled Guido with dread. Murdoch
gets interactivity but do his minions
get that a Babel of comment is not a comment blog?
On examination
Comment Central turns out to be a rolling round-up of the best of the web
a la Tim Worstall’s Sunday
Britblog round-up. Having an editor (Danny Finkelstein) seems to Guido a more intelligent approach to consolidating multiple sources of blogospheric comment.
Funny, it seems like only months ago that journalists would boast of blogs that they “never read them”.
