Labour Have NHS Cake and Eat It

In two hours’ time the Kingswood Labour Party will be celebrating the selection. And what would be the best way to mark the occasion, today of all days? How about an NHS Birthday Party, a dark hour cheered up with “with drinks, nibbles, and Birthday cake”. Cutting the cake, twisting the knife…

It was not Burnham either but unless and until he recognises his own modest part in destroying the service he is not fit for office.

I am not fan of Jeremy Hunt, just look at the mess (BDUK, Leveson et al) he left to Maria Miller to try to clean up at DCMS, but at least he has recognised the festering horrors he has himself inherited.

P.S. I am awaiting a good parody of Boyle’s Olympic “tribute” to the traditional “Nightingale standards” of training and performance monitoring that New Labour terminated.

It was not Burnham either but until he recognises who did it it and his own, albeit modest, contribution to what followed, he is not fit for office. the smartest guy in the room says:

Guido claims to be against all politicians, but of course this thread on the NHS proves this to be untrue as he is yet again taking the line Conservative HQ tells him to take.

Guido is not anti-politics, Guido is a tory stooge.

The general public is a strange creature. They hate authority, yet yield to it. They hate being told what to do, but are compliant, hate politicians but largely follow the laws they make and pay the taxes they charge.

The British have been conditioned over many decades to respect a particular type of leadership, the genesis of which is traceable back to when they were peasants and lorded over. They have a respect for a Hitleresque type of leader, such as Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher, both fascistic type leaders. Even Blair had Hitlerite tendencies, and they loved him too, for a while.

The problem for the Tories, and the reason they will be a one term government, is because their leader is not as strong as Blair or Thatcher or Churchill. He is a fairly rudderless chap with no conviction of what to do other than attack the poor in order consolidate the wealth of the rich.

The submissive and masochistic public are sensing this weakness and lack of conviction. They want somebody who is going to boss them and tell them what to do and who will carry out vicious repercussions if they fail to follow orders. The polls demonstrate this weird dynamic between the public and their political masters, as the Tories spitefully attack the poor their ratings go up.

The problem for the Tories attack on the defenceless is that you can only attack a cripple so many times before the crowd starts to turn against you and their perverse masochism transforms into moral indignation and outrage.

The Tories, in their bid to consolidate their riches and the riches of their friends by attacking the poor and disabled, will overreach themselves and hand victory to the opposition.

And Guido wil have yet again backed the losers.

        Oh well.

Adults should be able to evaluate information, search for information, think critically and reach their own independent conclusions. Strong leaders can be dangerously wrong in their thinking (Hitler and Stalin being extreme examples).

Blair couldn’t wait to get his face on the telly to talk about Ed Moribund and the unions in Falkirk. Where is he now, this is important, it’s British blood on Labour’s hands. But silence or blaming the Tories for having the temerity to mention that Labour put ideology before health care. They pumped money in and it was wasted, they boasted about spending our money while covering up what resulted from their managerial failures. Get Blair, Brown, Polly, OWO Jones on the telly to explain why they got it so wrong. What have they got to hide?

          2) hospitals do not turn away people, they have to treat anyone who turns up, sticking mainly insurance with extra costs.

So watching the BBC news and listening to Burnham on Radio 5, not once did the BBC point out the 13,000 deaths happened UNDER LABOUR.

For Burnham to throw out the line that the Tories were using the dead for political reasons is a joke, this camp left wing freak has been using the 96 at Hillsborough for political purposes for years.

The BBC still spinning the lie that Labour are trusted on the NHS, since when?

Also, the BBC ignored the report highlighting that McFuckwit gave out orders not to bring bad news to Downing Street.

Burnham is up to his scrawny scouse neck and he fucking knows it and no amount of verbal blow jobs off the BBC will save him.

Just spotted this on the Biasedbbc.org site.

Stratton last night, Norman Smith today, all going in to bat for Labour and giving the bastard Tories a good kicking for lifting the drains.

      WILD says:

Norman Smith the Chief Political Correspondent for the BBC News has just said on News 24 that the Tories attacking the last Labour government over the way they ran the NHS is just partisan politics. He then spent the next 10 minutes asking a Labour MP for her view – with not a single critical question.

The next BBC news “package” was about the BBC paying over 5 million for a few superficial reports. They asked Chris Patten for his thoughts. Again no critical voices, although the reporter mentioned that some Tory MP’s had been complaining. The reporter ended by saying that BBC has never been more popular.

There are times when the BBC pro-Labour (and anti-Conservative) bias is so blatant it is almost funny.

I used to like the BBC. But if I watched even 5 hours a week now I’d be surprised.
But if it was subscription for around the price it is now, I’d probably have it.
Definitely if it cost say £100 a year just for BBC radio and BBC 1 BBC 2 then that would be fine.

End the licence fee. The BBC can get by on a subscription model. It will have 95% of the country signed up. It would just need to axe it’s overspending and it’s management layers and get with the real world. Like sending maybe 20 journals and techies to Glastonbury instead of 420. You know, like every other media organisation in the world.

As for Cameron, he should be sacked for persisting with such utter bollocks, in the face of all evidence.

There are plenty of folk who can be trusted, but not many of them happen to be in positions of power at present.

The only reason Dave cannot be trusted to deal with this for example is because it is becoming increasingly obvious that he and the opposition are singing from the same hymn sheet, and the party political aspect – mainly usefulness of the crimes in framing the 2015 campaign, are too useful. This is actually another nail in his credibility as a leader in many ways.

The civil service are up to their armpits in blood on this as well, and seem very reluctant to admit that or deal with their own rotten command structure.

This is one of the reasons why the ICC was set up. When a country goes this bad on an issue of this magnitude, both in horror and scale, that country cannot repair itself.

The biggest hypocrisy is that one of the arguments Bla!r gave for invading !raq was because of what the leader there was doing to his own people. By this reasoning we should probably expect a UN contingent to show up soon in order to take over some administrative functions in the country and perhaps those involved into custody.

AllyCampbell should be pistol whipped and hanged says:

The problem is that Thatcher in no way advocated distorting palliative care into the practice of letting infirm older patients die a degrading death by starvation / dehydration in unsanitary conditions.

If anyone can put a credible line a reasoning together which can lead to these developments happening from a commercial or corporate ideology I would be enlightened. Common sense tells me that if you are running a health care system like a business you will be aiming to provide good levels of care for your patients, and would want to minimize their time in your facilities.

Killing off the patients prematurely or keeping them in a bed for a few weeks covered in their own excrement whilst waiting for them to die of dehydration does not make good business sense.

Nicholson himself is a confirmed socialist, actually communist having once been a member.

The only error that could be leveled at Thatcher, although she herself would have had no real say in this, is that she could have been more vocal about his background and questioned his suitability for the position he occupied at that time in the civil service.

If Nicholson had been purged back then, some of the horrors may not have occurred more recently, when his ideological cohorts were in political power.

Silence: Then Janice, a nice enough woman, it seems, slowly raises her hand, offering a faint smile, as if to say, You got me!

“Let me get this straight,” I say to David. “You’ve been picking up a check from the government for decades, as a tax assessor, and your wife is on Medicare. How can you complain about the welfare state?”

“But after lengthy study of the phenomenon, I’ve concluded that the whole miserable narrative boils down to one stark fact: They’re full of shit. All of them. At the voter level, the Tea Party is a movement that purports to be furious about government spending — only the reality is that the vast majority of its members wouldn’t be here without it!!”

He has made a career of taking the piss, in both the spiteful-advantage-taking sense and in the mockery sense.

OK heres the BBC bias in the open. From their news website

QUOTE “The heated exchanges in the House of Commons followed an investigation of 14 trusts with high death rates in 2010-11 and 2011-12, led by NHS England medical director Prof Sir Bruce Keogh.” UNQUOTE

Notice the dates It all started in 2010 according to the BBC up front and in the first paragraph.

“In the Commons, Mr Hunt argued that problems had begun under Labour, which was in power until 2010, and that it had tried to “muzzle” NHS whistle-blowers.”

Notice the word argued. Not a fact then that it happened under Labour and throws even smoke up to mask the truth.

Now seriously imagine the BBC headlines had this been a Tory government in power for 13 years.

The rest of the report backs Labour

This institution the BBC seriously needs to be killed off
