Pickles shows himself as the “model of lean government” with a 10% cut, alongside Grayling and Maude, while the Chancellor leads by example. Hammond and May get off lightly…

But we are still borrowing £11.1 billion in 2015-16 to give away in corrupt wasted foreign aid. The vanity projects of politicians trying to carve their names in history whilst sacrificing Brits through welfare/health & other cuts.

Who says they have ‘our’ interests at heart.

    Don’t mention the Co-Op.

    1. If Osborne keeps cutting expenditure, why is it increasing?

Yes, the intelligence services gets a 3.4% budget increase, whilst we see stinging cuts hitting the vulnerable and needy.

    10% cut?

25% and I would start listening, abolishing DfID and DECC and I might start paying attention.

As that will never happen with these economic imbeciles in charge, it’s to be ignored as too little, way too late.

Ed Balls with a Rainbow joke ?

Zippee / Bungle and George ?

Hansard are going to love that.

But – to answer your question:

They have been cutting the rate of growth of debt, not the debt.

The % cut in growth still leaves +ve growth.

And that +ve growth is magnified by compound interest.

    Ed Balls says:

Proper British Investment bank, not the Co-Op.

Destroy the LabLibCon nest of vipers, thieves and looters NOW! says:

Because the debt the moron Osborne is running, keeps increasing and he has to find ( loot ) money from taxpayers, to fund it.

    Not Ed Balls says:

In actual GBP terms, has he put the highest cuts on the departments with the lowest expenditures ?

Balls should – if he had the other brain cell – look at that. Mong.

In their defense, if they cut the public sector aggressively, like they did in Greece, the UK would end up like… Greece.

In 2010 Queenie gave Royal assent to the data communications bill ( Snoopers charter) and Health service privatisation. This is happening, albeit by stealth, and will be ramped up should the Con’s win in 2015. Is this a travesty or is it, bearing in mind the NHS death camps created under New Labour, about time?

Pensions is the biggy. The off the books debt is increasing at 734 bn a year. It’s completely fucked

Remember these aren’t cuts. Spending is going up and its not just the debts.

A cut in government terms is just an increase, but not as big as they planned.

So ho hum, its your pension down the toilet.

This government should be on the West End stage as a farce, tax avoiders and bankers rewarded whilst the poor and needy pay the price. Now adding a Welfare budget cap means thepeople who are sick and disabled will need to face the gas chambers as the country will not be able to pay the required benefits.

We need an election and get rid of this ramshackle not voted for coalition, hold on, they made sure we cannot get rid of by having a fixed term. The only fixed term they should get should be in jail for genocide.

“Pickles shows himself as the “model of lean government” with a 10% cut” yes so if the department has its cut will Pickles have his expenses and salary cut by 10%, of course not, probably go by 10%

    Old Blind Pugh says:

If prices remained static there would be no reason to increase pensions and wages would there?

George Galloway says of his former Respect candidate the UKIP MEP turned Tory, Amjad Bashir…

“Clearly Bashir does not have any real political principles or commitment, only naked opportunism and self-interest. He represents the revolving door principle in politics. The Tories are welcome to him because he will cause them embarrassment. Fortunately Respect was able to act before he did it to us.”
