MPs to Debate “Great Gordon Brown Repeal Bill”

How good it was of the Prime Mentalist to turn up yesterday. Here is one he will no doubt want to skip however: the Great Gordon Brown Repeal bill is to be debated in Parliament next week. The proposal to reverse Labour’s scrapping of the 10p tax rate will be discussed by MPs at 2:30pm next Tuesday. Guido hears Gordon will be receiving a formal invitation…

Quite a track record Gordon, highest waste of money in history, flooded Country with scum immigrants, locked NHS into massively inflated private finance schemes, destroyed pensions and endowments, massively increased taxation and created a mass welfare and public sector job dependency. What a star, why has he not been tried for treason?

          I find him repellent.
I would gladly watch him chased by wild wolves though a forest. Caught and chewed he is rescued only to be told to dig his own grave with the pen he used to sign the Lisbon treaty. Then a firing squad of 12 crossbow men shoot him full of gold tipped bolts. They bury him with a few kilos of polonium to ensure no one goes near his tainted corpse for 100 million years.

          1) Bankers borrow from BOE at 0.5% and lead it at over 5%. Investment bankers are paid more and more while getting 5% tax cut. While share holders lost out billions.

          2) Bed and Breakfast, people are made homeless and moved to bed and breakfast.

          • Broon sold our gold at $275 per ounce. It is now $1681 per ounce says:

Are you aware that employment is higher under Cameron and unemployment is falling?

Not that I like Cameron, he’s a lying little **** but he’ll have to work hard to be the total and utter disaster that Broon was for Britain. That takes real dedication and massive lack of talent.

          • Anonymous says:

If employment is increasing why is unemployment benefits going up through the roof?

I don’t know how true it is but if you search the internet you will find a reason why Brown sold the gold. Rummer is that it is to do will giving back Germany its gold.

          • Jethro says:

            Anonymous at 7:51pm
“Why is unemployment benefits…”: you mean ‘are’, presumably.
” Rummer is that it is to do will giving back Germany its gold.”
Full marks for not giving ‘its’ its ‘Greengrocers’ Apostrophe’. However… “rummer”… I have two or three ‘Rummers’, ‘toddy glasses’, made thick enough to withstand the shock of boiling water poured upon the Rum: perhaps you meant ‘Rumour’, a considerably different thing from “rummer”. However, “to do will”: did you mean ‘to do with’?
Perhaps you will say, ‘These are small points: if it were not now un-P.C., I would call them ‘nit-picking’. To which, I would respond, ‘It is a good idea not only to mean what you say, but to say what you mean, and, if you wish others to accept your economic argument, it is no use your couching it in illiterate terms (I know! You’ll claim Benefit of The-Labour-Educated). If you can be so careless of spelling and Syntax, how can we have any confidence in your numerical ability? If you were to claim a ’10 percent’ increase in anything, we would be forgiven for wondering whether it was actually a “0% increase”, or, indeed, a ‘-10 percent increase’.
Furthermore, why should any British Prime Minister be in a position to ‘give Germany back its gold’? If the Germans lost their gold, unless the British Government had insured them against its loss, why? Yes, over two World Wars, undoubtedly, Germany lost a lot of gold, as well as a lot of blood, but it would be fair to claim (a la Basil Fawlty) that, in both cases, they started it, and that it cost us in Britain an unimagineable amount in lives, gold, and prestige.
Many of us incline rather to the view that the towering genius Dr. Gordon Brown, was considerably over-sold, and that he was perhaps the worst of Labour’s perennial optimists and economic idiots, who, having never had actually to earn any money, really thought (if that is the word) that there is a money-tree, that money grows on it, and that only Socialists are able to see this tree and its perpetual fruit.

          • Anonymous says:

Am still on the fence, and that is best place to be until Chilcot comes out.

Unless of course you actually have spoken with him directly and were inside the decision loop at the time.

The portrayal of Blair as you make out could be precisely the type of propaganda image that some want people to see, rather than the truth. There is a very dark force at work within nu-Labour which is more than likely responsible for this: The same force which was responsible for getting him into power in the first place.

It is about time for a real historical assessment to be performed, and when one goes through what is documented, the picture is not quite as many perceive it to be.

          • rebekah aka nellnewman says:

I suspect chilcot will never come out – at least only a whitewashed version of it thanks to that ‘dark force in nu labour’ that you talk about.

          • T Blair Watch says:

No. Chilcot will be suppressed by the slightly brighter force behind Blair. Right now, no one with any understanding of what is currently going on in the Med / Middle East will want that thing out, and for very sound reason.

The geopolitical implications of publication within the next 5 years are huge. It will likely be subject to an immediate 100 year order when it is eventually published.

It is not so much about the conclusion – either your thesis or perhaps mine, but more about the detail. This needs to match with the ‘history’ otherwise what is being put in place will lose credibility and fall apart. That is in no ones interest.

Here, there has been much coverage of trash like Grauniad, Indi, New St@tesman basically dying, along with various other side swipes at left outlets.

It’s happening over in US as well – NYT recently announced layoffs, and then there is this:

Are they just changing model ahead of the curve, or does this signify a shift in readership, which in turn signifies and change in mood ?

It’s dying is testament to that, and the duplicity of the left wing ideology itself.

          • Alistair Campbell Murderer says:

I tend to think of a dodgy dossier and the illegal war it lead to, and 150,000 dead men, women and children, plus maybe 10 times that number maimed. Plus the refugees.

And still the BBC occasionally wheel Ali C (p0rnographer and murderer) in front of a camera to ask his opinion on this and that. As if he’s ‘important’ or ‘esteemed’, as opposed to a lying loathsome murdering piece of filth. Which is what he is.

            That’s what I think of.

And besides, the guy in the field didn’t have a lonely death.

          • rebekah aka nellnewman says:

And besides the guy in the wood was probably helped on his way by ‘someone’ who arrived in a helicopter according to local witnesses.

If you stop and think for a minute about what is being spoken about, as here in the UK with care pathways, you will realize just how retarded that comment you made was. And perhaps retards should be high on the states list next for dispatch.

The UK is bad enough with abortion being on the NHS, meaning that we are all forced to pay for the murder of unborn kids. Adding murder at the other end is really unacceptable if you happen to believe that health care should be about preservation of life.

Quebec and Canada are crossing the floor now into very dark territory.

A good article, but it for some reason did not dwell on the bigger picture outside of Gaza.

Big concern with !$rael at present is that if the US cuts its funding then this may have a knock on effect of causing the PA to collapse. This is not good as Fateh+Hamas are joining forces at present, and will fill the power vacuum. This is nothing at all to do with Blair.

The direction that Syria / Egypt / Libya have taken though is a different question. In particular Syria, but it is not certain yet as to which way that is going to pan out, and if the decisions taken were directly influenced.

The US policy change in 2006 is the largest elephant in the room. This was when the war on terror was transformed into the sectarian conflict which is still playing out.

A good question is whether Blair was party to that, and if so, at what level. W1k1l3@ks may hold the answers to that one.

Gordon Brown repeal? It’s not going to happen. The deficit would have to be all but eliminated, and National Debt reduced by about £700bn for that to happen. Sorry folks, but it happened, and we’ve got to cope with the consequences. If we’re all really lucky, Parliament will learn never to allow anything like that ever again. I’m not holding my breath on the last one, though.

The idea of the “bad bank” was of a place to transfer all bad credit from main banks, which would then be salvaged by state money (ie at taxpayers’ expense), so preventing any serious inquiry into who was responsible for this bad credit in the first place. This measure, debated for months, was far from being generally accepted, even by financial specialists. So why prohibit the referendum? In 2011, when George Papandreou’s government in Greece proposed a referendum on austerity measures, there was panic in Brussels, but even there no one dared to directly prohibit it.
