Now and Then, Now and Then

Hugo Rifkind has discovered Savile in his own words too:

Savile writes: “‘Ah,’ says I all serious, ‘if she comes in I’ll bring her back tomorrow but I’ll keep her all night first as my reward’.” He then writes that the girl did go into the club and “agreed that I hand her over if she could stay at the dance, [and] come home with me”. He wrote that he did then hand her over to the “lady of the law…[who] was dissuaded from bringing charges against me by her colleagues, for it was well known that were I to go I would probably take half the station with me”.

Looking bleaker by the minute for the BBC.

The police still haven’t seen the funny side of it, and they’ve

It is indeed a reference to the police station and what does that say about our lovely police force when added to all the other stuff recently exposed, including Hillsborough, Vaz and Rochdale – all the tips of the iceberg? And guess how many of the police will be held to account?

That’s the power of the official version.

If the gap between what a person is saying – even if it’s true – and the official version of the truth is too big then the average person won’t believe it because they won’t believe institutions they trust would lie that big. That’s why when one person comes forward you can get a flood because the others think they might be believed now there’s more than one.

Everyone knows the Big Lie Technique, i.e. keep it simple, keep reiterating it and don’t back off (as Goebbels might have said). But his mentor delved into it at greater length in Mein Kampf (he was wont to go on at great length, in any event.) Essentially Der Fuehrer claimed that because most people are not pathological liars, they keep what few lies they may tell manageable by telling them without a lot of detail, on subjects that the other person is not likely to stumble across the true facts of. For a politician to do the same thing, but only on a grand scale, Der Fuehrer argued, is a “lie that convinces by its sheer audacity,” and even if it can be immediately debunked, people will still remember it to some degree in the back of their minds, based on a no-smoke-without-some-fire kernel-of-truth theory, unable to conceive of someone lying so blatantly and remorselessly, even knowing they’ll be found out.

From 1956 to 1960 the Beeb ran a popular TV comedy series called WHACK-O! which was set in a seedy boarding school for boys. The humour derived entirely from the headmaster’s desire to ‘whack’ the boys while the adolescent boys concocted schemes to avoid getting whacked. The headmaster was played by Jimmy Edwards and his ‘old woman’-ish asst headmaster by Arthur Howard. Both men were likable but both – Howard especially – had a reputation for interest in younger males (he was later jailed for importuning.) An early example it seems of the Beeboids showing zero sensitivity (or concern) in exposing children (in this case boys) to potential inappropriate behaviour.
The spin-off movie, believe it or not, was called ‘Bottoms Up!’
Jimmy Edwards was later dropped by the BBC, not because he admitted he was gay, but because he stood as a Conservative candidate in an election!!

Not an defence but a fact that it was common knowledge that people in the pop music business indulged in sex with young girls without being too fussed as to their age. I am talking of the late 60s to early 70s.

These people included producers, musicians, DJs, promoters, roadies and all the other hangers on.

There is masses of it documented out there and some, but by no means all, has found its way onto the interwebs.

Of all the people who did, or may have, indulged in unlawful activity, there was none so prominent, nor long lasting in the spotlight, as Jimmy Savile.

None of the others at his level of prominence was sustained solely by the BBC, as far as I suspect.

Just to say some did, or even many did, does not mean that all did. I am convinced that Savile did though.

Indeed. But there is an especially significant aspect of the Savile situation in which culpability remains even after the perpetrator’s death (I will not even bother with the caveat alleged as there is more fire than smoke here.)

I cannot remember in five decades one single controversy on which the BBC has appeared to be on the hook without any means of wriggling out. We shall have to see of course.

As I pointed out in the last thread, there are some serious questions to be answered by the BBC.

For starters what did BBC management know?

Did kiddie fiddling ever take place on BBC property?

If BBC staff knew (and it appears some did know) why didn’t BBC management take action?

It’s no excuse for the BBC to claim that they were only allegations. The BBC have attacked the Catholic church for years for suggesting there was a conspiracy by the church to hide the kiddie fiddling going on.

It’s not acceptable for the BBC to “offer to help” the Police. The Met Police should already be down at the BBC seizing any records, memos and beginning to interview BBC management past and present.

Did the BBC deliberately hide or kill stories about Savile to protect themselves?

Are there any other BBC staff past or present who have had allegations of kiddie fiddling smothered to keep the BBC in the clear?

Why is the BBC playing this story down when it bigged up phone hacking and abuse by the Catholic church?

Scandal after scandal after scandal says:

The press may be bigging up Savile as a distraction from the explosive muslim grooming cover ups. Sure, they’d rather not report on Savile, but having to report on Rochdale would be worse as far as the establishment is concerned.

The closer you look at the British establishment, the more completely rotten the whole sodding lot of it appears. Walls of silence, collusion, and intimidation everywhere you look.

This Girl is a Woman Now

      This girl walked in dreams
Playing in a world of her own
      This girl was a child
Existing in a playground of stone
Then one night her world was changed
Her life and dreams were rearanged
And she would never be the same again
This girl is a woman now, and she’s learning how to give
This girl is a woman now, she’s found out what it’s all about
And she’s learning, learning to live
This girl tasted love, as tender as the gentle dawn
She cried a single tear, A teardrop that was sweet and warm
Our hearts told us we were right
And on that sweet and velvet night
A child had died, a woman had been born
This girl is a woman now, and she’s learning how to give
This girl is a woman now, she’s found out what it’s all about
And she’s learning, learning to live
This girl is a woman now, she’s learning how to give

A well-known IRA man during a deathbed confession told of parties in Dublin and London, where young boys were brought by East End gangster Ronnie Kray.

Apparently Kray had access to many London care homes and would have boys delivered to parties at DJ Alan “fluff” Freeman’s large flat over a music shop in East London. They would meet with show biz types and DJs including Jimmy Saville, Joe Meeks and occasionally Brian Epstein.

Saville was one of several men known to local police. In fact Saville instigated the DJ disco genre solely to gain access to boys. At that time, many DJs wanted access to androgynous boys with their make up and Carnaby Street clothes. This was a hidden world where figures from politics and entertainment mixed with criminals to gratify their lusts.

The whole the eastern region crime squad based at Rigg approach, East London was disbanded at the time through a combination of corruption, homosexuality and funny handshakes. Most freemasons I have met are fine, however, the higher in degree the more morally questionable they become, taking an interest in the occult and sexual perversion.

The British establishment has always had its fair share of such characters: some elevated to national heroes. Winston Churchill’s original Sandhurst file describes him as a confirmed sodomite who was a menace to the younger boys.

Jimmy Savile sued the Sun in 2008 over articles linking him to Haut de la Garenne, the children’s home where human remains were found and children were allegedly tortured and sexually abused. He denied ever visiting the home, despite photographic evidence to the contrary:

Gary Glitter said, “Ooh, do I get two?” “Yes, you get two said Savile”. A sick private joke between two perverts in respect of the abuse that was to follow.
