The people seemed to use the same small list over and over again, and I just happened to be on it. If it were a genuinely random sample, of course, I would only have been asked very occasionally, so I have my doubts about the fairness of the sampling.
Eventually I got so sick of answering their questions that I started being stroppy with them, and haven’t been rung for some time. Either they have taken me off the list for being uncooperative, or they did eventually get around to remaking the list as they should have done.

You can set yourself up as someone who is polled online via Yougov. I did it myself for a while. Even got £50 out of it. Trouble is they end up doing lots of polls about commercial brands as well as your political opinions. Boring!
