    Except no Beers of Europe?

    • 4

Billy it can’t be an exact copy then can it? It is updated and Beers of Europe has dropped out of the top 10.

Billy Bowden is the greatest umpire ever ! says:

Fair point Guido, i withdraw the charge.

Cant understand why the Beer fringe event (europe) would drop out the top ten tho?

          • Fabiania says:

Nevertheless, in most advanced countries, the following will be pretty generally applicable.

            1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
            2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
            3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
            4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
            5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
            6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
            7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
            8. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
            9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.
            10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production,

          • Main event tabled for bored media says:

Maybe some nice diverse chappie will explode hisself and buddies and the Tories could all run away just in the nick of time and the people will rejoice!

That would make a conference for me.

            Just like the 80′s.

          • Spartacus says:

Haven’t I seen that somewhere before?
Something to do with confiscation of wealth and the bourgeoisie, or was it Greece?

          • It is Greece, soon to Be United Kingdom. How many Billions will Osborne need this month to Prop up the Wars in Afghanistan the Prohibition of Drugs War, and the Army of Social Workers Prison Staff Police Time and Politicians wages and Pensions. Thats what happens when you let a load of Sexually confused individuals run the country for the last 30 year. Its our own Fault. The Cons wont have a country to govern due to the Corruption of all our institutions from Banking to Energy, and every other Quasi Private Company Set up after the WAR.

David Laws Lib Dem fiddler says:

How about a change to the HRA? I fail to understand why Clegg and Cameron publicly supported the assassination of Bin Laden against the rule of law and justice. Presumably also against the HRA, that Clegg spoke support of in words of one syllable. Both claim to be opposed to the death penalty? War criminals from the second world war, who instigated worse atrocities, were allowed a right to trial. In contrast both are content for convicted terrorists to remain in the UK and seek asylum to the Uk under the HRA?? Most bizarre.

        • 110
          Anonymous says:

Your point about war criminals is bollox. Bin laden was shot as the war is still ongoing.

          • Billy Bowden is the greatest umpire ever ! says:

What court convicted OBL of any crime?

          • war on thickos says:

You don’t need to convict anyone to kill them in a war Billy, you plank, that’s why it’s called war FFS.

          • Billy Bowden is the greatest umpire ever ! says:

Lets just hope no state declares war on you and kills you without a trail.

          • The Paragnostic says:

I think OBL was convicted out of his own mouth, Billy.

Asymmetric wars require asymmetric laws – the application of a shoot-to-kill policy against those who have been involved in killing civilians to further their political ends is a reasoned and reasonable response, much like those Micks in Gib a few years back.

Repercussions against leaders (either of state or non-state actors) should be expected as part of life – and no exceptions (T. Bliar please note) should apply.

          • war on thickos says:

Billy, if I’m in a war it might just be reasonable for me to expect to get killed, end of. Plenty of people, civilians included, were in just that position in WW1 & II. WTF is difficult to understand about that?

          • You talkin to me? says:

does that mean I’m allowed to execute Tony Blair?

      • 123

David Laws Lib Dem fiddler says:

Anonymous: Even during war people have a right to trial. Would Clegg be happy if the US did a drone attack to kill a terrorist in the UK if he was deemed a threat, like they did in Yemen yesterday? It appears Obama is using tenuous legal advice to assassinate people around the world without trial and where the public does not know what the evidence might be.

Clegg cannot have it both ways, he either believes in the rule of law, justice, human rights etc or he does not.

But then again what right minded person would believe a word Clegg says.

          • Anonymous says:

Please stop talking bollox, in a war combatants fight each other they dont set up court cases. What fucking history lessons did you get at School ah yes the Court case of Hastings 1066 in which King Harold was given a suspended jail sentence and community service.
Did they show you that old footage of the Americans putting away their flame throwers and sending in a team of Lawyers to get those japs out of their holes in the ground. Or what about theseige os Stalingrad where the Germans surrendered after being told their legal aid was being withdrawen !
Bollox , hunt these fuckers down and shoot them dead.

Billy Bowden is the greatest umpire ever ! says:

      Hiya Rats :-)

I think all parties will have learnt shit loads from the first 18 months of coalition (how to do it and how not to do it), Dave and the Tories promised a more euro-sceptic party than Labour and then u-turned on it (maybe down to Libs), The british people despratly want a government that acts in thier intrests not Brussels.

I want the Tories to go Harder, faster and deeper with cuts, then present a tax cutting manifesto with a promise of a referendum of membership of the EU, however i doubt the referendum will happen in my lifetime.

          • Gordon Brown says:

We also heavily invested in Children’s Tax Credits.

          • Billy Bowden is the greatest umpire ever ! says:

            Tax credits=Ponzi scheme

          • Dick the Prick says:

@Bill – regarding tax credits and their Ponzi type characteristics; yeah, kind of but a similar system does need to operate and whilst CTC is badly designed and quite able to be defrauded, it also does exactly the right job for many mothers. I should declare a bit of an interest as I work there but for every 10 calls at least 3 are proper genuine and it is government work. To tar applicability for Tax Credits with the volume and inspection of calls is not the same as saying the system itself is FUBAR. There is a movement towards increasing the compliance department but it can’t just be switched off without a manifesto pledge – that would be eggregious pedantry and quite expensive. It is getting reduced and HMRC is an odd place but, from my experience anyway, it seems rather target driven. The computer systems were fucked up in procurement but nowhere near as bad as the NHS but hovering about the billion squids.

All for getting shut of tax credits but not before an alternative has been sorted.

Why is it acceptable for blk men to say blk women are the most beautiful but I can't say white women are? says:

I once saw on some trashy talkshow a debate about inter-rayshell dating. There’s nothing wrong with it but one of the audience, a blk man, said “Blk women are the most beautiful in the world” which half the audience then applauded. A white guy then quite rightly said “If I stood up and said white women are the most beautiful in the world, I’d be called a raycist”. When did this kind of double standard become acceptable? It’s ok for someone like that blk guy to say he wants a “beautiful nubian princess” but it’s not ok for someone to say he wants a “beautiful caucasian princess”. It’s not that i particularly want the right to say it. People should just say they want whoever without bringing colour into it, but this disparity does exist and I’ve noticed it go without any comment in the public sphere.

      CYNICAL OLD MAN says:

That old pervert Moseley is also bankrolling that shyster lawyer Mark Lewis who seems to be representing every so-called hacking victim. I’ve stated previously that Moseley is pursuing a vendetta against News International who had the temerity to expose his sado-masochistic orgies with prostitutes.

Moseley is eaten up with trying to exact vengeance on Murdoch as a result of this exposure and his using his wealth in encouraging Lewis to solicit complaints and legal actions against the Rupert’s empire. Some of these claims of phone hacking are tenuous to say the least but they have an accumulative effect on creating the belief that Murdoch gave the order to have messages intercepted and is thus unsuitable to run a media business. Just what that slimeball Moseley wants!

      • 121
        Engineer says:

In Mosley’s case, I have a grain of sympathy for his stand. As far as I’m aware, he never really courted publicity in the way that celebs tend to, and never made public pronouncements about family life or sexual morality. Consequently, it’s rather hard to see what the public interest is in publishing details of his private life – it seems to be more prurience than exposure of hypocricy.

That said, I’m not too sure that his funding of the anti-News International legal campaign is wise. He’d be better advised fighting his own case (which seems a fair one) and staying out of those involving celebs and politicians, some of which are a tad hypocritical. He risks tainting himself with their hypocricy.

Furthermore, anybody making common cause with John Prescott is probably setting themselves up for severe embarrassment. The man’s incapable of rational thought.

        • 172

The word ‘rational’ in your last sentence there seems irrelevant, Engineer.

Had a mull over Eric Pickles announcement re weekly bin collections and what green groups had to say , I will admitt that he is right it is one of the most visible things we associate with our local council , and it may help some other aspects of waste , I dont know if had seen a new design of sorting facility , though where instead of multiple bins it all goes into one and gets sorted on site . As ever in waste management we should be looking to be able to reuse as much of our waste as possible and one hopes that the supply side of waste will be more determined to help this , mainly because we are running low on landfill.
I have been in favour of plants that slow landfill down or even dig out our old ones and perhaps any areas that are still hooked on landfill , could do with these new plants which may have a better ecnomic contribution .
Still doubtfull on syn gas plants , as i think high temp incineration is way forward , or at least staged , but even then the residues need careful thought.

Planning : I dont think the 7% figure of built land area is a fair one to use ,for quite a bit of the Uk would be very difficult to build and live on , besides we are talking about land that really could be used to grow stuff on , rather than a few highland grazers . Given the use of biofuels or even biolubricants , green land for agriculture is under pressure any way , if we want less stressfull farming , we need to stress the land less , no one has mentioned how self sufficent we are in feedstocks for agriculture , we im port a lot of soya , which is causing deforestation in other parts of the world . if meat prices are dependent upon feedstocks , then seems a bit nuts not consider ,1 in 10 yr crop problems effects .

Actually, David Hart believes in global warming being a good thing.

        Global Warming Is Good
        by David Hart

“A warmer climate: good or bad? The icy polar regions would thaw. But would hotter parts of the world dry up? In the past they didn’t. Five periods in the last half-million years were warmer than today. Each time the Sahara got more rain and turned to lush grass. When Earth warmed up the forests bloomed and the deserts shrank. But when Earth got colder the deserts expanded and the trees died back.”
