Lord Lamont told ITV News…
“I think the PM is just human and Ed Balls is a pretty irritating person”

What an odious cun’t
Never, in the history of this Nation, has so much destruction been wreaked by such CLUNTS in such a short time.
So why is call me Dave signing them all up and putting them back on the payroll?
Because he is one of them, he is a metropolitan lefty and feels at home with the wankers.
I lasted less than 2 minutes before I wanted to punch my monitor at the sight of that traitorous, lying, evil, nation-destroying c/unt and his one-eyed mongo side-kick…
Respice prospice
Well, at least you didn’t have to wake up to Oona King this morning.
A hideous experience I can tell you.
Sorry Mr GiFs. I had to read this twice. Thought you had had the misfortune to wake up with her. You could not face your friends ever again.
Whales pontificating voice is much worse, fat fuck from Yorks
Hope she becomes Mayor in London. Boris has become boring. The scale of fuck ups this Common Purpose clown is capable of will keep the rest of the country entertained for free for years! Vote Oona! Vote Oona!
Ah yes, that unmistakeable smell of Common Purpose at work. We’ve gone from a lawyer to a PR man. Is that really the best the country can do? A fucking PR man running the show???
I manged to live through it, just, but I think it took its toll on my disposition.
Now if only the BBC (including C4) would stop prolonging their mendacious lies and constantly bigging them up I might be able to regain some of my former healthy attitude towards my country and fellow man.
You may have lived through it – let us not forget those that died at the hand of nuLieBore.
When will nuLieBore be brought to trial for their crimes.
http://www.iraqbodycount.org/
Blair gently distances himself while continuing to soak up the sun earning millions from his public speaking about the illegal Iraq war where he caused thousands to die and watching his property port folio grow- given to him by UK tax payer- and now benefiting his children’s life styles. He is a capitalist while extolling the virtues socialism. I say he should be properly investigated, charged and prosecuted for war crimes and his assets seized for the widows and wounded military personnel.
Bad Al continues to earn a living from the Liebour’s BBC and Mandelscum tries to beat Blaire with his book to earn greater sums than his mentor. They should all be arrested, investigated and prosecuted. 150,00 Iraqi people died, hundreds of soldiers slaughtered, and thousands maimed for their vanity and individual greed. Read Bill Clinton’s book, he did not see Iraq as a threat when he handed over to the Bush exterminator, they were about sixth on his list. He was already delpoying cruise missiles to Afghanistan to hit bin Laden- who had no links to Iraq and he claims Pakistan and its intelligence service were supporting the Taliban in Afghanistan.
The Tories were and still are, fully in support of Iraq and the ridiculous Afghan misadventure. They have blood on their hands too. They can claim they were duped into Iraq by liar Blair, they have no such excuse over the pointless and worthless Afghan futility.
The difference between Iraq and Afghanistan is that the Afghanistan invasion was a fully legal, internationally sanctioned invasion supported by the UN, NATO, the EU, USA, Russia, China and others. It was in direct response to an attack on a NATO member on September 11th 2001.
That mission has lost it’s way since, but it started out legal and with widespread public support.
Iraq never did.
On the other hand, iraq had a clear endpoint.
A clear but hopeless simplistic and flawed endpoint.
My end-point … now what was that about?
Afghan war legal because of an attack on a NATO member. When did Afghanistan ever attack a member of NATO?
The fact is here that a vote for any of the big 3 was a vote for continued illegal pointless war, stitch-up and cover-up. I didn’t vote for Cameron, Broon, or Clegg so my conscience is clear.
Nice to see Blair yesterday announcing all profits from his book of spin will be given to wounded war heroes via the Royal Legion. So, that’s all okay then? Personally as an ex-squaddie I would prefer it if the RL took his blood money and held him down while a team of disabled ex-soldiers jammed the cash forcibly up his rectal cavity until he begged for mercy – much as Dr David Kelly may have done. Tony Old Chum, you can’t clear your conscience with cash. Hmmm flaw there is that a conscience is needed…damn!
And when was Afghanistan near the North Atlantic? Methinks
Hi!
I’ve just called by to remind you that I’m very, Very, VERY RICH!!!
An’ the missus is too!
Am I bovvard?
Nah! Being a lickspittle ‘socialist’ I suck up to anyone wiv dosh. It’s in me interest innit?
We owe it all to Noo_Lie_Bore and the bollocks that my admirers believed an’ all the loors we Noo_Lie_Bore loor-yas put up.
And even though my boy Dave is richer, he’s not as poplar as me, Me, ME!
But he IS bringing back all my puppets.
I charm sheeple – what suckers they are!
And I’m worf it.
I should ‘of’ ditched Gordon.
But he frightened me.
But hey! – trust me!
Good that Blair found religion. At least I know he will have a hell to burn in and his conscience will keep him up all night. Mwaahahahaha Who am I kidding!
Nope, no remorse, unlikely to be a sensation Blair has experienced, gives him the edge:
Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil Adjusted for Political Purposes
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1897244479/ref=oss_product
All of them. I have downloaded the video and it will be stored until the next election. And then it will be used, boy, how it will be used…
I just want to punch the fuck out of Blair. There are times when words just aren’t enough..
Wars of doubtful legality, the UK being run by a foreign power and a debt which will be paid by our grandchildren. Daily reminders of the destruction of the UK wrought by 2 men in a 13-year pissing contest.
‘Men’ were neither of them. Would you take either on patrol with you?
Yeah,on permanent point
And that’s why, in my new Green Government, I intend to recycle all these failed Labour politicians becasue it’s not like I have 300 odd Torry Mp’s to choose from for these jobs.
Boy its like a gift from the Gods.We don’t have to get a sleeper into the government, they invite us in Moscow will be pleased.
Call me Dave must hate the Tory party, all those dinosaurs who believe in outrageous things, such as putting Britain and the British first, the rule of law for all, sovereignty of parliament, free speech and small accountable government. He feels such notions belong in another age, not his shiny progressive, one party Tzardom.
We can do without yet another picture of this money-grabbing, pompous, ham-actor, thanks all the same.
Look forward to seeing the full edition on the bbc !
I’m backing Prime Minister Ed Miliband
Is he touching his toes ?
Thank you so much the coalition
Rail fares may rise by up to 8% next year if the Department for Transport (DfT) is hit hard in the government’s spending review, sources have said.
While many rail fare rises are currently capped at inflation plus 1%, this could rise to 2% or 3% if the department faces tough cuts.
Increases are based on July’s RPI measure, expected to be 5%, which could mean increases of up to 8%.
Is it because there’s no money left, perhaps ?
Never miss an opportunity to screw the public!
Of course fares didn’t rise under labour.
In other words passengers are now starting to pay the full cost rather than every other tax payer subsidising their travel?
we can’t have the miserable twat sitting next to you on the train every morning and night getting any help, twat never speaks.
Commuters
Why is rail travel in the UK so eye wateringly expensive compared to elsewhere? You can fly, quite literally around the world, for less than the, admittedly first class cost, of a train journey from Newquay, to the Kyle of Lochalsh. I smell a very stinky price fixing rat among the private, monopoly service providers.
In a free market, there wouldn’t be a train to the Kyle of Lochalsh.
There soon wont be once the unions get going. They cant see that this horse (Britain) is on its knees and slowly dying. Instead of treating it with tender loving care, they are going to beat it till it stands up.
Yes, but the cost is far higher than it should be because of the dreadful, messy way the railways are organised. It gives us the worst of both worlds: public-sector muddle and incompetence, private-sector greed and short-termism. Blame Johm Major, Stephen Byers and Alistair Darling.
No, blame the EU Regulation (suitably gold plated by British civil servants) that stipulated that train operation management should be separated from infrastructure management.
To be fair, Stephen Byres is available to drive us there himself.
Someone should pop a cap in his ass, if I may be quite so presumptuous and indeed, possibly vulgar
‘Ass’ being the American slang for one’s posterior, or bottom as one would say, and not a Donkey/Mule.
Shoot his donkey/mule as well. And I hope his rabbit dies and he can’t sell the hutch.
Great from Ed Miliband
Labour leadership contender Ed Miliband will today say that it was the party’s less affluent voters who lost Labour the election and hits out at his critics who have accused him of running on a ticket “pandering” to the left of the party, branding them guilty of “New Labour nostalgia”.
Today he publishes a psephological analysis which he says supports his belief that those who deserted the party for the Tories at the last election were not high-earning voters but the less well-off; Labour’s erstwhile “core” voters have now become “swing” voters.
The analysis, for the Fabian Society, shows that Labour lost six votes from lower-income voters for every vote it lost among the professional middle classes. This finding, he says, supports him in his belief that the Labour party needs a “greater rethink” than “New Labour adherents are comfortable with”.
Labour is fucked. Don’t know, or particularly care, about you.
The Labour party has never “cared” about anyone but themselves. The lie that socialism is in any way beneficial for the poor, is the biggest fraud in politics.
Obviously if you have more votes among lower-income people to start with you are likely to lose more votes from them when you are unpopular. Duh. Can these Fabian types do sums?
Anything that Geeky (& Gorky) has to say about anything at all is completely irrelevant and meaningless.
Yesterday’s men, along with Balls and all the other odious and incompetent NuLiebour dross.
I would put a comment about how many facts are wrong here, but last tiem I did I got the reply F**k off Troll
A nod’s as good as a wink, but none so blind as those that can’t see.
F**k off Troll!
i din’t even point out the fact are wrong here, Surley people have the right to point out facts are wrong without being told to go away, the last time politicians said they would think for us without us having the choice to criticise was in germany in the 30′s
Yup, that video is far too kind to labour. In reality they were even worse.
I just feel so sad watching it. What missed opportunities! ‘A new dawn has broken, has it not!’ ‘Things can only get better.’ ‘Education, education, education.’
Ratsniffer and Sir William Waad below are right on the button.
don’t troll the feeders.
#15 “I would put a comment about how many facts are wrong here,”
Oh so the humungous deficit is a lie then ?
Thats good, thanks for keeping us right there.
How will historians view the NuLabour years? Well, if the Orwellian scribes have not managed to “rectify” the past, four main strands to the Blair/Brown legacy will stand out:
1/ Wasted opportunities. Blair could have gone down as a reformer. But there, brooding in the background, was the sullen, surly dickensian figure of Broon, determined to sabotage plans like Frank Field’s welfare reform. Blair should have sacked Broon, but one of his tragic flaws is cowardice – as in so many decisions, he lacked the balls to do the right thing.
2/ Financial imprudence. Once again Blair was prepared to bask in the artificial sunlight of the credit bubble. It kept the voters happy, but like a grubby ponzi scheme it was bound to come tumbling down in the end. And it did, just after Blair bailed out. Robbing pensions, selling off gold on the cheap, all this happened under Blair’s watch. With the dark figure of Broon glowering over his shoulder, once again Blair lacked the willpower to do the right thing and sack the ku nt.
3/Social change. The B/B years marked the start of mass imigration for idiological purposes. Blair vowed to “destroy the forces of conservatism” and one of his methods was to import potential labour voters by the million. Whatever your views on immigration, such a rapid influx of new citizens has had a huge cultural effect, as well as overstretching education, health and law enforcement services. It has also stretched to breaking point the generosity of a normally immigration-tolerant public, as well as allowing right wing parties to capitalise on the discontent of white working classes who feel they have been displaced and disenfranchised.
4/ Smoke and mirrors. The lies, the deceit, the spin. We don’t need to list them, let’s just hope that they are not airbrushed from history so that people in the future know exactly what kind of administration this was.
That’s a pretty good, concise summary.
And that was the good part.
I see Blair as Harold Wilson Mark II – media-savvy, washed into power by a reaction against a tired Tory government, a fixer, making money on the side, hard to pin down politically, financially incompetent and above all dedicated to carrying on in power for another day, then another, then one more…..
Like Blair, Wilson made real progress in liberal social policy but ossified an already out-of-date economic model and had the Labour obsession with trying to control everything from Number 10. In one respect Wilson was superior – he refused to let the USA drag him into the Vietnam War.
…and Wislon spawned the careers of a whole new generation of impersonators: all they needed was a pipe, a gannex mac, and a comedy northern accent: “This will not effect the pound in your pocket”
I think I said that at the Brighton conference
“Smethwick Conservatives can have the satisfaction of having topped the poll, of having sent a Member who, until another election returns him to oblivion, will serve his time here as a Parliamentary leper.”
“In one respect Wilson was superior – he refused to let the USA drag him into the Vietnam War”
No – that simply proved Wilson was a coward who would not stand by his supposed allies.
Good analysis. Don’t expect it will ever get heard on the BBC mind.
If we in the NewLabour movement gloss over the illegal war against a sovereign nation which posed no threat to us, the catastrophic borrowing which threatens our independence as a nation, the huge influx of foreign filth, the debasement of the exam system so any fuckhead can get an O level, the selling of honours, the manslaughter of troops sent into war zones without the correct kit, the murder of a British hero Dr David Kelly, who knew the truth about the Blair/Campbell’s WMD lies, the corruption of the civil service, the explosion in the number of disability fraudsters, the total capitulation of Britain to the NeoFascist EU superstate, our catastrophic fall down the economic competitiveness table, the endless rise in tax with no discernible benefit to the pubic sector’s delivery, the unchecked rise of the stasi state, and the fact we allowed a deranged, bullying, basket-case to run the country for a couple of years, and we did pretty well I’d say.
Winston Churchill might have said: “So much damage done by so few”.
So much damage done to so many by so few??
thanks Guido you have just reminded me to take my blood presure tablet.
If only my dad had made it to PM, I’d be above the law by now instead of dealing with the Danish fuzz!
Don’t worry;strings will be pulled.
The only individuals who have SIGNIFICANTLY benefited under the 13 years of Labour miss-rule have been Bankers, Lawyers, Politicians, Labour quango members and not to mention the largest gainer of all, one Mr Tony Blair, Hunt OF ALL Hunts!!
Ah, I can see a new Peter Jackson trilogy in the making:
The Lord of the Hoons: The Fellowship of the Hoons
The Lord of the Hoons: The Twin Towers
The Lord of the Hoons: The Return of the Hoon
May I be the first to suggest throwing Mandy’s ring into the fires of Mordor?
“Cracks of Doom”?
Don’t forget all the i**igrants that have benefitted handsomely from fecking Labour – what a brilliant Government Nuleiber was – the bastards, and as for B.Liar, I hope he rots in hell , along with his wife, old letter box gob. I honestly don’t think I have ever felt so much hatred for those tw*ts as I do now. So all your Labour bastards, with selective memories – PISS OFF!
Britain’s Border Agency official are under orders NOT to chase illegal immigrants if they run away after being stopped and questioned. Extract from the “Enforcement Rules Manual” for the Borders Agency staff – I quote ” Do not pursue anyone who leav4es the premises, notify the police who will assess the situation”………….and……………..do ……………..******all.
In 1997, the total UK National Debt accumulated since 1690-something was £347 billion. It now stands at about £900 billion, and is planned to exceed £1 trillion by quite a large amount by 2015. That’s a huge “investment”.
What have we got for it? Are our hospitals three times better than they were? Are we rising in the international league tables of educational attainment? Are our armed forces the best equipped in the world? Are our businesses booming, our population well housed and content? Are our political institutions in good health and free of corruption and graft?
Sadly, no.
All the money is being sucked up in compound interest.
Well we have not paid any tax but get free health care so we’re happy and will vote labour. So a good investment from them. Better still the NHS will pay for our childbirth to make more labour voters.
It all started in America.
One health fact NOT mentioned is the stabilizing of blood pressures around the Country. In fact it is estimated that over 500 hundred per week are still enjoying life since the demise of this catastrophic slimey Government.
Not to mention, many people still have the same TV’s and radio’s week after week and holes in walls are being repaired daily.
Nokia sales have declined ….
Parrots are up!
Life just crap at the moment
Superb blog today at :-http://ironiestoo.blogspot.com/

NuLabour may yet have the last belly-laugh, if the 2012 Olympic equestrian events are not moved to another venue pronto. Anyone who has Cameron or Clegg’s ear should warn them about the unmapped maze of subterranean tunnels in Greenwich Park dating from medieval times when they were used among other things to bring water to the palaces.
Even if the chance of Olympic horses & riders suddenly and helplessly falling into 30′x30′x30′ void were only 1%, can the Coalition Government take that chance? As one who has lived hereabouts for more than 30 years, experienced the mayhem caused by the 2002 sink hole in the A2/Blackheath Hill and who has read the expert submission – http://tinyurl.com/37sm3qy – I happen to think that the risk is far higher than 1%. Here is the author of that submission,
At the moment, whenever any of us proles writes to the DCMS about this, we receive a letter from a 13-year-old civil servant who hasn’t read anything relevant and only regurgitates 18-month-old phrasing.
Boo, why isn’t that YouTube link working in my comment? Anyway, it is the second video on this page

As a bonus, the third video on this page was made by Arthur Smith.
Thats 6 minutes long, does it show any holes.
Holes/conduits – http://tinyurl.com/37sm3qy – shown in full colour.

link leads to blank page mate.
There you go
Thank you. Excellent.
Per von Scheibner (Marquis Du St. Empire) probably knows more than anybody else about the tunnels beneath Greenwich Park, and his conclusion is that LOCOG are “pushing their luck”. The weight of a horse and rider landing on two legs is similar to driving a pole into the ground. He says the important point is that no-one knows where all the conduits are nor where the air shafts (access points) are. So how can a track be designed around them? Is this scaremongering? It’s quite possible that there may
be no access points on the cross country course, but the jumps pose a special danger from the exceptionally high density of foot traffic gathering around them.
From the Games Monitor briefing paper of May 2010
http://www.gamesmonitor.org.uk/files/BriefingPaper1-Impact.pdf
Is the DCMS talking to Scheibner – no, it stupidly isn’t.
I for one think that the addition of sinkhole hazards might add a certain frisson to the dressage event.
For the showjumping, perhaps we could use traditional East End burnt out cars for the final section?
I guess I’ll have to migrate to the sewers of Whitechapel for the duration of the Olympics.
Greenwich is crossed by the A206 to the north and the A2 to the South. They have big red things (buses), big feck-off diesel monsters (lorries) and long white thingy-mabobs full of foreigners (coaches) moving across then continuously. And you think the p.s.i. of a four-leggy people-carrier is going to bring Armageddon to Greenwich…?
Why did you have to say that, bringing some sense to the lizards on here is just spoiling the fun.
What’s the traffic on the A2 and A206 got to do with anything? Red buses do not run across Greenwich Park.
Perhaps the two groups worst served by the B/B years are those saving for their pensions, and those passing through the education system. The first, whilst trying to look after themselves and avoid being a burden to the state in their declining years, have been robbed and left to endure a diminished old age; the second have been fed the lie that they can do anything and be anything they like without much effort – reality will be a harsh lesson for them, and an unjust one.
Indeed. And as one in the former category, with children in the latter, the unforgivable reality is that many who will be so adversely affected have yet to find out. Such has been the incompetence that it will take years to run through. Particularly as the new government appear to have made the pension outcome worse by switching benchmarks. Brown and Blair should both be in prison.
Taking that further.Reality will not be something they will accept with a cheery smile and compliance. Some will take to the streets in an orgy of destruction worse than Toxteth etc. Others will sink into hopeless depression. The future costs will outweigh any benefits seen by change for many years. While the economy is under repair the downward spiral will continue. The costs increase. Society cohesion will fragment and then disintegrate.Old flimflam methods of whitewash won’t wash this time round. I don’t envy Dave’s job,nor any other politician to come in the next 10 years. If we get past that then there is a God.
Society cohesion will fragment and then disintegrate.
Countries that have a ‘minister for social cohesion’ have precious little social cohesion to begin with.
That’s the major difference between now and the 1930s. When push comes to shove, the Britain of today will be far more brittle than the country of our grand fathers.
When Britain was threatened in August 1914, nearly 500,000 men volunteered for the armed forces in the first two days.
When Britain was threatened in 1940 the government called for volunteers for the LDV. This was for men who were in reserved occupations, exempt from call up or too young or too old for national service. The government had no weapons or uniforms for them and many volunteers were veterans of the Great War trenches who knew the risks. Despite this, 250,000 volunteered.
Britain faces considerable threats today but social cohesion or, dare I say it, love of one’s country, would not produce a similar response.
“fed the lie that they can do anything and be anything they like without much effort” .
This line sums up one of the worst things for me [trained engineer/bodger/broke and proud!]about Labours years it broke the spirit that good manual work is great! working in a shop is fine and can be very fulfilling as a job, we need tyre fitters / street cleaners/lathe turners/ gardeners so on you know little people who make the wheels turn and there’s nothing wrong with them or their jobs !.
Very true Eddie, very true.
Your comment reminded me of the words of Field Marshal Viscount Slim (the “Empire’s Greatest Soldier”). In describing the achievements of the Fourteenth Army in advancing across almost impenetrable territory to retake Burma from the Japanese, he pointed out:
“I really believe the heroes of this time were the men who kept the wheels turning and the wings flying – the Indian drivers who … drove day and night … the Sappers who built up the roads almost between the passing wheels, the RIEME men who worked incredible hours to turn the worn vehicles round again, the Air Force mechanics who … laboured [day and night]. All of them were magnificent to watch. They identified themselves utterly with the troops ahead they were … a vital part of the team. They had the pride and bearing of fighting men, for they were one with them.”
Schools and politicians should be instiling that kind of pride in any productive job, no matter how humble-seeming.

I was the greatest prime minister of all time. My book will prove that.
And its printed on carefully, hand crafted soft, absorbent, perforated, paper for your convenience.
Each page will have ‘NOW WASH YOUR HANDS’ in large, friendly green letters at the foot of each page.
One party can’t fool all of the people all of the time. That’s why we needed two parties.
And why do we now need a coalition?
er tri-alition,is that a new word.

Hello proles. Me and Cherie are very rich. Don’t make fun of our overweight daughter or you might end up taking a walk on Harrowden Hill.
Slugs give birth to….
I voted Labour. And I wish other prisoners would stop hitting me and throwing buckets of shit on me.
I want compensation.
Slightly O/T – But why are we sending several billion in aid to our enemies like China, Russia, India and Pakistan who threaten UK jobs with their cheap exports, have nuclear weapons, and Space projects whilst at the same time casting around for loose change to pay for our own nuclear defence system trident?
You could be forgiven for thinking Michael Foot never died!
Their exports = Real products.
Our Exports = banking and finance.
Hmmmm
I don’t see how it matters what we export, as long as we export something and it is high value-added stuff. What does matter is the way the entire economy is skewed so as to promote the actvities of the City, For decades we had artifically high interest rates and an overvalued currency. More recently, we have pumped staggeringly large subsidies into the banking sector. No other interest could have hoped to command such feather-bedding.
Welcome to post industrial Britain, where we don’t actually make anything anymore, where jobs are scarce, low pay and low skill, but for some reason we need a record breaking population level of 70 million plus!
If we’re gonna be a third world country, wht not go all the way?
All you racist right wing reactionary Conservatives making fun of me are racist right wing reactionary Conservatives. It’s not true that I always talk in a horribly affected manner that makes people’s blood boil. I deserve to be London Mayor, even though Dy Ann Fat Bott hates my guts because she wants to be the only prominent black Labour figure and despises anyone she perceives as a rival.
Fight fight
Fawkes sort this modding out,it is spoiling even the most light hearted post.
“This Friday the Libyan regime will hold sickening celebrations giving thanks to Gordon Brown and Kenny MacAskill on the first anniversary of the return of a terrorist with British and American blood on his hands. I cannot think of a more damning indictment of both the previous Labour government as well as the current Scottish administration.”
True, very true mate.
Prove it
Brown is a bucket of human filth
Fucking criminals. The sight of Brown stood in front of his cabinet colleagues and saying, “I’m not a team of one, I’m one of a team,” and Harman and co. looking they’ve had to eat a bucket of shit……..a fucking classic. Even now I hate the sight and sound of the overpromoted twat.
Just READING about the lying, useless, bullying, gutless one-eyed fucker makes me feel physically ill. It doesn’t help my psychological equilibrium, either. Fuck him and the mule he rode in on. The bastard. Nurse! Help me!
We’re on our way back! We are the natural party of government! We gave you child tax credits!
Labour gave me a heart attack, liver disease, chronic indigestion and Piles – that’s what those tw*ts did to me – oh, and they stole my pension!
funny that, only happens to Conservatives. I am in the best of health and fit as can be.
Mummy says that if I’m really good, I can have a fizzy lemon with my din-dins.
hello.Has Fawkes started modding bad language?
SSKRAAAAARRRKK!!! SPUNKY PISSFLAPS!!!
Obviously not.
I want you all to fear me and love me. But mainly fear me.
No problem.
I was brutally raped, strangled and stabbed to death by James Gordon Brown.

Fuck you.
You silly “clearing in the woods”

Is that the one where we got rid of all those wild pigs?
No, it’s the last election you’re thinking of. That’s where we got rid of all those wild pigs.

I listened to the wireless this morning about Andrew Lansley’s plan to do away with mixed hospital wards. Lots of people have said mixed wards was a bad idea in terms of safety and dignity for sick and vulnerable people. Lots said mixed wards should have been done away with years ago.
Two questions.
1. Labour promised to abolish mixed wards in 1997, why did they not do it?
2. Wards segregated by gender were a feature of hospitals since Victorian times for the very reasons stated above. Which intellectual giant decided to change that practice?
A friend of mines mum insisted he take her home when she got put in a mixed ward. a week later she died.
A natural death at home could be infinitely preferable to being ill and vulnerable on a mixed adult ward. The idea of being hospitalised on a mixed ward – being dressed only in your nightclothes, weak and sick, perhaps with a life-threatening condition, complicated by the ever present threat of horny predatory male patients with nothing else to do – fills me with horror.
One of the worst aspects of NuLabour’s attempt to infantilise the populace. Along with making people accept jobs as strippers or forfeit unemployment benefit.
I think the phrase is ‘nail and hitting of head ‘ the utter joy of going to the job centre and seeing jobs like stripper /adult TV presenter /escort on the screen
reminds me I am still better than the unionised pimps pushing young girls at these jobs!!
death will be a long screaming event for them.
whats a “ward”?
The only hospital I’ve been to recently had either 4-bed “bays” /rooms or 1-bed rooms. If either of the above grouped together into a ward, then it wouldn’t seem to matter too much if the ward was mixed as long as the rooms weren’t.
“Labour promised to abolish mixed wards in 1997, why did they not do it?”
This promise was every bit as successful as Bliar’s promise in 1999 to “have an NHS dentist on every high street”. So where are they then Bliar, you pathetic Hoon?
Like every NuLiebour promise the situation actually got a whole lot worse, but only after squandering vast sums of public money to achieve it.
I work on a ward and it is not mixed. In fact, a penalty is put on the ward if the bedboard as much as shows that is mixed. Recently a male patient was mistakenly shown to be in a female bay on the system, and the ward manager, who is also a Sister was promptly warned not to let it happen again. I cannot answer why this practice does not seem to be in operation in other NHS hospitals, but it certainly is in mine.
When you consider that the range of conditions varies greatly between the genders (not many blokes need obstetrics and very few girlies get prostate problems), would it not make more sense to have completely separate hospitals, one for each gender.
That would solve this old chestnut of mixed-sex wards and would allow each hospital to specialise in the predominent conditions of the different genders, resulting in better, more efficient and targeted healthcare for all.
Just a thought from outside the box.
what about the transexuals where would they go?
Middlesex Royal Infirmary?
A man goes to his doctor for his physical and gets sent to the Urologist as a precaution.
When he gets there, he discovers the Urologist is a very pretty female doctor.
The female doctor says, “I’m going to check your prostate today, but this new procedure is a little different from what you are probably used to. I want you to lie on your right side, bend your knees, then while I check your
Prostate, take a deep breath and say, ’99′ “.
The guy obeys and says,”99″.
The doctor says, “Great”. Now turn over on your left side and again,
While I repeat the check, take a deep breath and say, ’99″.
Again, the guy says, ’99′.”
The doctor said,”Very good. Now then, I want you to lie on your back
With your knees raised slightly. I’m going to check your prostate with
This hand, and with the other hand I’m going to hold on to your penis
To keep it out of the way. Now take a deep breath and say, ’99′.
The guy begins, “One .. Two …Three”.
On the night before the 1997 election Bliar said “They only had 24 hours to save the NHS”
As long a the mental one is gone i am happy
What a trusting soul you are. I wish they were all like you.Life would be so easy.
Sorry, can’t hit ‘play’.
As soon as I see that odious money-grabbing soap actor I want to throw the screen out of the window.
I’ll just presume he’s spouting some ludicrous non-committal lefty nonsense about aspiration and opportunity in that silly clipped voice of his.
120 comments in 3 hours. When i get back in 2 weeks it’ll probably be down to 10 per hour. This place used to be banging.
We are all so content with life now Broon has gone.
People are too busy building the new Jerusalem on the back of McRuin’s failures to spend time here and anyway at this rate Dave will have half the ex-Cabinet Ministers from the last 13 years helping him do it. First it was Hutton then Field then Milburn possibly Blunkett so how’s about appointing Blair to be Foreign Policy Tsar given his successes in that arena ? Trouble is I fear that Dave may take the suggestion seriously given his admiration for the “Straightsortaguy” and his standing ovation when Tony left PMQs for the last time.
The key is to destroy Labour, forever. Milburn is a useful useless idiot. Labour is being eaten alive and is moribund.
There’s money to be made in any situation, downturn or no, and plenty doing it, and that’s what I plan to do.
It’s a terrible indictment of the damage Labour did that all Cameron has to do is ‘not be Brown’ and he gets a free ride.
It’ll take a bit more than that if he doesn’t start showing some positive results for moves towards all the totally obvious fixes that need to be made to the UK, which is an island in case Dave has forgotten…
I will make a statement to the house on this at 14.30
It was the Right Thing To Do.
That fellow Clegg has a terrible accent. Sort of distorted Estuary. He’s on TV atm, and keeps saying ‘Crate growth, crate jobs’… Not only ‘T’s are missing, but also ‘E’s.
If I had a quid for every ‘erm’, ‘um’ and ‘er’ I’ve heard so far I wouldn’t be as worried about the financial downturn.
“The rain in Spain, falls mainly on the grateful recipients of your bailouts”
Isn’t this just as enjoyable now as it was on the night?
Ahhh a moment of exquisite joy !!! mind I had forgot how happy the grunt looked being next to her hero !!!
Isn’t it great that we don’t have to put up with his mongol-like, slack jawed features on a daily basis any more?
Must be destroying him to see all his crackpot lefty schemes rapidly being dismantled. All that will be left, and all he’ll be remembered for, is the vast debt be bequeathed us all.
I wonder how long it will be before the separation is announced, seeing as the beard did her job?
SLURRRRRRPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!
I love swapping mascara tips with Andy Burnham
Has anyone thought how applicable George Orwell’s, “Animal Farm” parodied the years of Nuliebore even an egg being liad on (thrown at) Pressa parodied the hen laying an egg on one of the pigs from the rafter in the barn. The end of of the book has the animals looking through the farmhouse window, they looked at the farmers then looked at the pigs they had to rub their eyes because eventually they could not tell the difference between them.
I know it parodies Stalin and the formation of the Soviet Union but it proves history repeats itself.
Somehow the Kelly solution presents itself as being a just reward for dealing with the cretins who were allowed to run the country for so long.
Pop them all off, have an enquiry, find that they all topped themselves when they realised what they had done and close all the papers submitted from view for the next 70 years.
QED
The government stuff is a piece of piss. Anyone can do it…
So, the war criminal Blair donates the prfofits from his book to the British Legion. Concience/Bood money. The Brtish Legion should tell Blair where to stick his 4.6 million.
I make that about £63.00 per life lost in the illegal war in Iraq.
Labour may have had 13 years in power, LibCon have been in for a short time but it feels like 13 years!!
Just keeps turning in his grave
