They Don’t Half Pick ‘Em

This isn’t exactly the headline Labour would want forty-five hours before the polls open:

The candidate in question was just on Sky calling for more powers to be given to the Queen and farmers. With friends like that…

      Bullshit!

Brown was a stupid cun’t to go along with it but the blood of the Iraq War is all on Tony and Bush.

      • 101

Well, yes, but Brown thought he was being clever by starving the troops of money so that the dead coming back would make Blair look bad.

There is one thing worse than lying to get the country in to a war, and that is that having done so, the Chancellor tries to make sure you lose it for his own petty career reasons.

When the up-against-the-wall time comes, and Brown and Blair should both face a war crimes trial, Brown will be the one facing charges of war crimes against his OWN side.

What a pity we don’t have the death penalty for treason. Oh wait, isn’t there a Lisbon loophole which re-introduces it?

        • 180

Gordon does have blood on his hands. When tough decisions needed to be made he was absent. If he opposed the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq he should have said so but he chose to keep out of it – he didn’t want to vote for it but didn’t want to be seen voting against it either. He kept his mouth shut in the cabinet. Brown is such a political minded shit he has *no* morals, scruples, a spine or balls.

      • 420
        Gordon carries FULL responsibility says:

How Gordon Brown voted on key issues since 2001:

        * Voted very strongly for the Iraq war.

        * Voted moderately against an investigation into the Iraq war.

        * Voted strongly for introducing ID cards.

        * Voted moderately for allowing ministers to intervene in inquests.

        * Has never voted on removing hereditary peers from the House of Lords.

        * Voted moderately for a wholly elected House of Lords.

        * Voted very strongly for introducing foundation hospitals.

        * Has never voted on laws to stop climate change.

        * Voted strongly for introducing student top-up fees.

        * Voted moderately for the hunting ban.

        * Voted a mixture of for and against greater autonomy for schools.

        * Voted a mixture of for and against a transparent Parliament.

        * Voted very strongly for replacing Trident.

It is going to be fun to see how this develops on Al Beeb. In any case it is just in time for Brown’s big speech in half an hour.

Jack Straw has been reported for ‘treating’ Muslim males in his constituency.
This is still a criminal offence, even if between consenting adults. Happened on Sunday 30 April. Similar offence planned but aborted on May 4.
Closely related to ballot fraud which could affect election result.
This is common with Muslims (culture innit). Craig Murray reckons Lancashire police will bury it until after Straw is safely back in Westminster and then drop investigations.
Meanwhile, Labour in Lancashire nosedives among ‘untreated’ voters. I attended Burnley May ‘Festival’ yesterday. The party has curled up and died. Marquee a quarter full of old lags berating the ungrateful electorate. The place stank of defeat and unwashed socks. Gordon Prentice, who hasn’t been too bad as an MP, looked more than ever like a Calvinist Scottish mortician who’d lost his purse containing ninepence.
    Beaten.
I predict Labour losses in Burnley and Pendle and a swathe of other Pennine seats. The treated voters may be enough in other seats, however.
Ballot fraud seems to be endemic and treated as part of the game in areas with Muslim votes to be had.
This vote-stealing should get honest Muslims angry but doesn’t seem to.
It all seems to be internalised.
Labour can’t take ethnic vote for granted anymore, hence all the tricks. They are still claiming the Irish vote as of right, in spite of evidence to contrary. Several ‘treating’ events have taken place in various cities between Labour and various Irish ‘community’ leaders who are anything but. Irish tax-payer’s money going to shore up Labour vote in Britain.

Professor Henry Brubaker, Institute for Studies says:

Yet there are still people out ther who will vote for these hoons, intelligent people as well….

Out at friends the other night i was pretty flabbergasted when they tried to defend the Prime Mentallists economic policies and claim he is the best man to guide us through the problems ahead. They have fallen hook, line and sinker for the ‘it started in america’ lie, its not gordons fault! Mention the gold…mention the boom and bust… makes no difference.

Trying to tell these folks that yes, its a global slump but our slump hit harder and will last longer than any other major economy based on Brown incomp-etance was seemingly a waste of time.

All they can see with a conservative government is cuts…but what the fuck are they gonna do when they get in? Whoever gets in will be cutting like crazy.

The problem with my friends though, is they are teachers, part of the client state, reliant on us tax payers to keep them in the style they think they deserve, people who the recession has not hit because they pay has changed. All they can see its cuts to education etc etc. Like a lot of these types they cant see past their own noses whilst the likes of me (a small business owner) are struggling to hold on by our finger tips, we dont figure in their minds, well, as long as the taxes keep rolling in they will get paid!

As much as I like them (life long friends) they are true sandal wearing, gaurdian reading, champagne socialsts (the look on their faces when I told them the Gaurdian had shifted their alliegiance from labour though was priceless, they had not got their weekend copy for some reason!), both graduates, both teachers (art and geography) and therefore its probably a bit much to ask that they think of the nation as a whole rather than their own little world. Forming little minds does give people pompous self importance….

But the problem remains, there ARE people out there, normally rational and intelligent people who will vote for Gordon, who, despite all his fuck ups, believe he is the better man as PM! There are people who still have faith…though I hope I shook them enough to stop them voting at least!

The mistake everybody is making is in assuming a Lib-Lab (or Labour) government would actually implement the ‘tough choices’ they’ve been postponing for the past two years.

They won’t. They wouldn’t. They will simply print more money to pay their additional one million bed-wetters, boxtickers and bastards.

It may be at some point that the IMF will come banging on the door but Labour will just continue to blame the banks, the yanks and indeed the IMF if they start throwing their weight about.

The big lie is that Labour will willing address the economic clusterfuck they have created. They won’t. They’ve had two years to make a start and all they’ve done is build up the public sectors expectations that every public sector job is sacred, every public sector pay rise is sacrosanct and that a 200bn quid shortfall can be made up by taxing a couple of more billion quid off ‘the rich’.

If you haven’t already then a cheap hedge against the final stage of the Brown Bank*rupcy is to buy seeds. Get your order in to Suttons. Plant your own.

The women, who now dominate Education, tended to be more touchy-feely, sympathetic, caring pinkos. They boasted about being more interested in children than their subject. It’s built into their feminity, and it’s OK if they’re at home being Mummies, but it’s ruining education.

    Leave while you can says:

Hi to all my English friends,

Although I do not live in the UK any more (thank God), I still take an interest in what’s going on. I thought that Tony Blair was a very bad, ‘money grabbing bastard’ but Gordon Brown makes him look like a naive girl scout.

Here are just a few interesting facts about Gordon Brown

The UK used to have 6 independent regulators to regulate the different divisions
of the financial services industry, including our Banks.
(Margaret Thatcher knew what the Banks were like and in the 1988 Finance Act she bound the Banks up in regulation to prevent them from being reckless!!!)

Then Gordon Brown became Chancellor on 6th May 1997

Gordon’s banker friends said “We want all these regulators to go”
“We don’t want regulators watching everything we do”

    AND GORDON SAID OK

So, Gordon announced on the 20th May 1997 (2 weeks after becoming Chancellor) that the six regulatory bodies would be broken up and a new Financial Services Authority would replace them. The FSA had virtually no powers over the Banks and he also took away the powers from the Bank of England to enforce regulation on them.
The result is the devastation we are all suffering today.

    ————————————–

The UK used to have a Monopolies and Mergers Commission

Then Gordon’s banker friends said we don’t want the Monopolies and Mergers commission telling us who we can and cant “Take Over”

    AND GORDON SAID OK

So, in 1998 Gordon scrapped the Monopolies and Mergers Commission and created a replacement called the Competition Commission, with very much reduced powers and different ideas of what used to be regarded as a “Monopoly”.

The result is the Massive Corporations we have today who are ruling and shaping our lives for their own benefit and profits. Not to mention the massive Monopolies held by some of these corporations through the forced purchases of all their competitors

    ————————————-

The UK used to have pension regulations, which for many decades had included something called “The Pensions Cap”
The pensions cap set a limit on how much pension any scheme member (including directors) could get from an occupational pension scheme, irrespective of how high their earnings were. It was there to protect the ordinary member’s pensions. To prevent Directors paying themselves obscene salaries and then draining the pension funds with huge pensions.

Then Gordon Brown’s banker friends said that they wanted the pensions cap removing so that they could get pensions related to their obscene earnings.
(The whole Pensions industry gave him warnings of the effects it would have. Even the Inland Revenue put forward objections)

    BUT GORDON SAID OK
Because Gordon never likes to disappoint his banker friends

So Gordon took away the Pensions Cap in 2005 and then some of his friends were able to leave their boardroom positions with huge pensions!!!
For example Fred Goodwin was apparently entitled to a pension of over £700,000
If Gordon had left the pensions cap in place that would have been a mere £125,000
Well done Fred and your mates!!!

(The Superannuation’s Division of the Inland Revenue have kept a record of what it should be, in readiness for when we get a new chancellor who sees fit to re-instate it. George Osborn has pledged to do that). The record of Pensions Cap limits are available to view on the Revenue’s website

The result of this is that along with Gordon’s “Tax Raid” on pension funds starting July 1997, over four thousand UK company pension scheme’s have closed their doors to new members and many of them have had to close down altogether, leaving millions of workers without any pension provision.

This man Gordon Brown “professes to be a socialist and “for” the working man

The working man’s main form of long term financial security had for many years been his company pension scheme, something to look forward to at the end of a life of hard work, his reward, light at the end of a long dark tunnel.

Gordon has put an end to that by destroying the most valuable asset
    of the average British worker.

IT IS ONE OF THE GREATEST TRAVESTIES OF JUSTICE THAT THIS MAN WHO PRETENDS TO BE “FOR THE WORKING MAN” HAS IN FACT BEEN HIS WORST ENEMY FOR THE LAST THIRTEEN YEARS AND WILL LEAVE A LEGACY THAT WE WILL STILL BE CLEARING UP FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.
THE REAL INJUSTICE IS THAT ITS ALL BEEN DONE IN AREAS WHICH ARE TOTALLY OUT OF SIGHT TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND BEYOND THE UNDERSTANDING OF MANY

GORDON RELIES ENTIRELY ON PEOPLES IGNORANCE TO GET AWAY WITH
    HIS INDISCRETIONS

    GORDON’S MOTTO OF:
    “DENY EVERYTHING AND ADMIT NOTHING”
SEEMS TO BE WORKING QUITE WELL FOR HIM SO FAR!!!

    —————————————-

LASTLY, WHAT GORDON LIKES TO CALL THE “GLOBAL BANKING CRISIS”

Have you noticed that we were the first to be in it and are the last to be out
(and whether we are out is very speculative!!!)

As he has openly admitted, The Royal Bank of Scotland was the world’s biggest bank.
So when RBS and HBOS were about to go BUST in October 2008 they had to be bailed out overnight so they did not take the entire country down with them, (that by the way was almost certainly a decision made by the hierarchy in Whitehall for which Gordon loves to take the credit)

As the worlds leading banks now all lend money to each other on a colossal scale, isn’t it obvious that the world’s biggest bank going down would have a devastating effect on all the others it dealt with.
This “world’s biggest bank” had also sold bad mortgage books to other banks.

Most of the Banks in Europe which ran into crisis were dragged into it because of the crooked dealings of our big Banks. A fact that both Germany and France were quick to remind Gordon Brown of at the G20 emergency meeting shortly after the crisis.

There are many more Gordon indiscretions, far too many to list here, but perhaps the few biggie’s shown above will give some insight into how Gordon operates.

By the way, have you noticed how he has suddenly become interested in Social issues now an election is looming and seems to be able to promise the world when, as Alistair Darling put it a few days ago, there is not a penny left in the bank!!!

Think very carefully before casting your vote for this man who is probably the most extreme capitalist of the past century while pretending to be “for the working man”.

GORDON WORSHIPS THE SUPER RICH AND POWERFUL AND CANNOT SAY NO TO THEM

Please pass this on to all you can, the whole population should know these few facts before the election.

      Then Northern Rock blew.

The crisis is far from over. The banks debt has been taken onto the public debt account and is still to be worked off.

If Greece goes then the position and safety of sovereign debt will be questioned and the UK is in the queue with Portugal, Spain and Ireland.

This coalition lark is a laff

Politicians should read the constitution or precedents ….If the price for the LibDems supporting Labour in a coalition is that Brown stands down and someone like Miliband Snr or Johnson takes over as leader of Labour there will be NO Lib/Lab coalition for the simple reason ……the minute Brown as sitting PM tenders his resignation as PM the Queen MUST ask the leader of the largest party in Parliament to try and form a government i.e. Cameron and the Conservatives probably. So no more talk of coalition …cos’ it ain’t gonna happen unless Clegg backs down on his demand for Brown to go

But Mr Sood did praise Mr Brown for lowering the interest rates for mortgage owners.

Cutting interest rates was only ever about putting a floor under house prices. The sole engine of our miraculous borrow and squander economy.

When interest rates went down to 0.5% that was the time to be sticking the public sector for a pay cut or at least a five year pay freeze. The mortgage rates being so low does (or did) represent for many people a several hundred quid a month pay rise.

It should have been presented as such and the necessary cuts taken at that time. Now, two years down the line, the public sector has got used to their mortgage pay-rise. Now they’ll be squealing if mortgage rates go up.

    We’re fucked.

But Brown wouldn’t because by borrowing from the future and applying QE, he hoped to make it to the GE (delayed as long as possible), for a glimmer of artificial growth to emerge. Expensive for the nation as will be very clear in the months to come. Given the size of the public sector there was no way Brown would apply the necessary measures this side of an election.

Bank of England panel is composed of four ‘independent’ members (selected by Gordon), four block-vote treasury members (Gordon’s men) and a chairman.

They were given a remit to target inflation but the inflation figure was calculated by a third party (the ONS – Office for fiddling figures for Gordon – the Kiwi guy in charge quit because of the amount of government interference in the generation and reporting of the figures). The information target itself was deliberately switched to ignore an obvious (15 – 20% annual house price rises) housing bubble.

Eddie George (dead, ex governor) is on-record as saying interest rates were tweaked for political purposes late 2004/early 2005 when the housing bubble looked like flagging before the 2005 election.

Right now it’s sitting there holding rates at 0.5% while looking at 4%+ inflation when it’s supposed to be keeping it in a 1 – 3% band.

Get buy-in from the city, IMF etc challenge an imploding labour party to come up with a credible alternative and call another election. If they win, they’ll have a proper mandate for the economic pain to come. Because it’s enough to get through their queens speech and anything else early on. But longer term, the shit is going to hit the economic fan and a small maj will be shitty for them as the true scale of what has to done has not been communicated to the electorate. Another election would give them either a bigger majority or at least a mandate on more clearly defined economic austerity measures.

    Rob says:

This really is Labour in the skids, like the Tories were in 1997. The key difference being that the Tories don’t seem to have convinced people as yet of their merits. I think they’ll end up at around 37%, but it’s not a huge jump from 2005.

Labour clearly need some time in oposition to sort things out. They are really smacking of desperation, and it proves that yet again more than 10 years in power for one party, really is enough.

I do hope we don’t get a uniform swing though. Some local variances would be excellent – it would be good to see some more independents, higher amounts of Liberal Democrats and a Green in parliament too. Britain is pretty diverse and there is no hope of representing that with a narrow spread of parties.
