    Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen
Friendly old girl of a town
    ‘Neath her tavern light
    On this merry night
Let us clink and drink one down
    To wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen
Salty old queen of the sea

Makes the place sound rather like a Hamburg tart

    The Baiters Master says:

Heard the “millionaire” on radio 4 this morning along with other assrted lefty luuvies. It was grotesque, an elitist cabal of real nutters discussing Sartre. Russian Art (revolutionary) and making sweeping generalizations that suit their leftist view of the world.

Someone forgot to tell Tariq about Gramsci.

Communists are vermin, worse than Nazis.

This is not even communism but the bastardised involuntary version that causes all manner of suffering and poverty.

Whatever, this is a classic example of Fabianism at work.

    Tariq Ali says:

    I am a smug hypocrite.

Upon this statement of truth, you may discuss, or simply close the thread down.

    That is all.

If global warming is NOT happening, then can somebody explain to me why we have had almost snowless winters where I live in Bulgaria Europe and this November we had the highest temperatures recorded in over 100 years? Or is my thermometer being secretly changed in the middle of the night by Al Gore?
I would debate ANYONE of you, come on I challenge you.

Look up and you will see this really big hot thing in the sky…..most of us call it the sun. It has cycles…..sometimes its closer and cooler than it is, and sometimes its farther away and hotter, and sometimes its closer and hotter or closer and cooler. All of these different stages EFFECT the planets….including the one we are currently on. Pretty straight forward. So over time, we have cool eras…..and we have hot eras…….its always been that way and it will always be that way in the future, unless of course that red thing goes supernova, which means we won’t be worrying about global warming or global cooling any longer……..

      Papa Gore says:

Were there any snow free winters in those 100 years?
      Look up the records.

The Enviromental lobby…like water melons. Green on the outside, red in the middle. Who was the openly commie woman righting in the Grauniad last week saying she was standing as a Green candidate, as it was the party that most closely matched her ideals?

Communism isn’t exactly known for being environmentally friendly. Some of the biggest pollution disasters occurred in the USSR.
