If ever I heard the argument for a smaller state, then this surely is it. The more of their incomes the people keep, the less influence for the state to peddle and therefore the less temptation for jounalists to suck up to one party or another. I left a perfectly respectful if critical comment about Mr White on Cif only to see it “moderated”. They should just get rid of the pretense and call it censored.
White has always been an apologist for the Labour Party. He is a sad character, much annoyed that Brown and his coterie of dysfunctional Ministers have been found wanting, have proved to be liars over public sector cuts and probably doomed at the next election. Brown has effectively buried the Labour Party for the next 50 years and White knows it.
