Hannan Tells Gordon He Is “Pathologically Incapable”
Some great home truths were served up by Dan Hannan in reply to Brown’s address to the European Parliament. All the time Gordon just squirmed in his seat pretending not to be bothered. Gordon was reduced to grinning like a monkey at a zoo caught playing with himself. Worth listening to Hannan lash Brown time and time again.
UPDATE : The BBC’s Mark Mardell is loathed by Brussels Euro-sceptics, sometimes a little unfairly, but his report of the address fails to mention the replies, merely quoting the leader of the Socialist grouping calling Brown’s speech “brilliant” and “courageous”. No mention of the British reply speeches fom UKIP’s Nigel Farage or Dan Hannan for the Tories. The comments on his blog take him to task for his omission.

There were four main issues that Enoch Powell pronounced upon in his lifetime.

About time someone stuck to GB publicly, but more importantly, how do we get the entire British people to hear this. Radio, Television are both controlled, dead press and blogs have a too limited audience and potentially don’t reach the mainstream (uneducated, those that can’t be arsed to vote) population. Any chance school teachers can enlighten their pupils to inform their parents? I like Cameron, I like the way he does things and I like what he stands for but at this stage in the game the goal is wide open to kick Labour firmly in the Jaffas on an almost hourly basis, yet the blows never seem to be knockout. This speech shows what our Prime Minister is all about and the Tories should take a long hard look at what this is made of. Labour were all over Major like a rash by 1996 and once the media got behind them in lampooning and vilifying our leaders then the die was cast. The BBC are never going to make it easy for the Tories so they must land the blows harder and faster each time.
Labour has bankrupted Britain and continues to bloat its client state even after the cupboard is bare. The Tories’ response is to get bogged down in Inheritance Tax and the 45% tax rate.
