Hannan Tells Gordon He Is “Pathologically Incapable”

grinningSome great home truths were served up by Dan Hannan in reply to Brown’s address to the European Parliament.  All the time Gordon just squirmed in his seat pretending not to be bothered.  Gordon was reduced to grinning like a monkey at a zoo caught playing with himself.   Worth listening to Hannan lash Brown time and time again.

UPDATE : The BBC’s Mark Mardell is loathed by Brussels Euro-sceptics, sometimes a little unfairly, but his report of the address fails to mention the replies, merely quoting the leader of the Socialist grouping calling Brown’s speech “brilliant” and “courageous”.  No mention of the British reply speeches fom UKIP’s Nigel Farage or Dan Hannan for the Tories. The comments on his blog take him to task for his omission.

Harman ought to have pointed out that Brown had no moral authortiy, because he had not fought a contested election. Thank goodness Gorbals Mick wasn’t there.

However, he sorted the bastard out, ably supported by an additional kicking from the Bank of England. Whose next to kick Brown, Darling?

As good as it is, it’s not a relevant news piece to report a damning speech made by some random Conservative MEP – it would be immensely biased to post it

meanwhile front-page stories about King telling the government to stop spending, how the counter-terrorism measures are flawed, and questioning Strawman’s new bill of nannying are all pro-labour of course

but lets just focus on the reporting of our prime minister making a speech as bias…

The newlabour scum need putting firmly in their place, they need to be lambasted constantly for the mess thay have made, every time a Tory gets on TV they should go on the offensive and tell people exactly what newlabour have done to our once proud nation.

Gordon Brown is the best-placed leader to steer our country through the stormy seas of this global economic crisis.

David Cameron and his Old Etonian toffs have nothing to offer. They have no ideas – they would do nothing to save our country.

The right-wing shrill reactionaries who populate this site are running scared. Gordon is bouncing back in the polls and at the next election he will deliver an unprecedented 4th consecutive triumph, and consign Conservatism to the scrapheap of history where it belongs.

Manzoor says “Enoch Powell was right, it seems to me, to highlight the danger of communities failing to integrate and right to say that the sheer number of immigrants coming into a country can have a serious impact on its culture. But…” He does say “but” and continues so I have left that in too for balance and the rest of the article can be read as per the link. There were four main issues that Enoch Powell pronounced upon in his lifetime.
      1) The need for a sound economy with low inflatio and equally low taxation.
      2) That membership of the EU is incompatable with Britain’s status as a free nation
      3) An end to uncontrolled and semi-controlled immigration
      4) The status of Ulster within the UK

Well he was ceratinly right on on issues 1 and 2. On issue 3 and 4, the jury is still out.

There is not one iota of evidence that he was a racist. Yes he attracted support of some racists but it is no co-incidence that the majority of outright racists are in the BNP who can be summed up as White-Power Socialists.

Bear in mind this, in attendance at Enoch Powell’s funeral was Tony Benn. He would not have gone to the funeral of someone he regarded as racist. An opponent yes but an honourable opponent

Dan “the man” Hannan says it as he so often does in clear, logical, and precise terms and with surgical precision. His minutes at the microphone are beautifully crafted and constructed, building into a crescendo.

A bankrupt Prime Minister, pathalogically incapable not just of admitting fault, but of running the country, has just been skewered.

Farage gave Blair a bitch-slapping, and Dan has exposed Gordon in assembly, stripping him of his fraudulently obtained colours.

Daniel Hannan MEP: The devalued Prime Minister of a devalued Government
Prime Minister, I see you’ve already mastered the essential craft of the European politician: namely the ability to say one thing in this chamber and a very different thing to your home electorate. You’ve spoken here about Free Trade – and amen to that. Who would have guessed, listening to you just now, that you were the author of the phrase ‘British jobs for British workers’ and that you have subsidised, where you have not nationalised outright, swathes of our economy, including the car industry and many of the banks? Perhaps you would have more moral authority in this house if your actions matched your words? Perhaps you would have more legitimacy in the councils of the world if the United Kingdom were not going into this recession in the worst condition of any G20 country?

The truth, Prime Minister, is that you have run out of our money. The country as a whole is now in negative equity. Every British child is born owing around £20,000. Servicing the interest on that debt is going to cost more than educating the child. Now, once again today you try to spread the blame around; you spoke about an international recession, international crisis. Well, it is true that we are all sailing together into the squalls. But not every vessel in the convoy is in the same dilapidated condition. Other ships used the good years to caulk their hulls and clear their rigging; in other words – to pay off debt. But you used the good years to raise borrowing yet further. As a consequence, under your captaincy, our hull is pressed deep into the water line under the accumulated weight of your debt.

We are now running a deficit that touches 10% of GDP, an almost unbelievable figure. More than Pakistan, more than Hungary; countries where the IMF have already been called in.

Now, it’s not that you’re not apologising; like everyone else I have long accepted that you’re pathologically incapable of accepting responsibility for these things. It’s that you’re carrying on, wilfully worsening our situation, wantonly spending what little we have left. Last year – in the last twelve months – a hundred thousand private sector jobs have been lost and yet you created thirty thousand public sector jobs. Prime Minister, you cannot carry on for ever squeezing the productive bit of the economy in order to fund an unprecedented engorgement of the unproductive bit. You cannot spend your way out of recession or borrow your way out of debt. And when you repeat, in that wooden and perfunctory way, that our situation is better than others, that we’re ‘well-placed to weather the storm’, I have to tell you that you sound like a Brezhnev-era apparatchik giving the party line. You know, and we know, and you know that we know that it’s nonsense! Everyone knows that Britain is worse off than any other country as we go into these hard times. The IMF has said so; the European Commission has said so; the markets have said so – which is why our currency has devalued by thirty percent. And soon the voters too will get their chance to say so. They can see what the markets have already seen: that you are the devalued Prime Minister of a devalued government.

Get this into your thick skulls.

      1) It’s a GLOBAL downturn. We live in a globalised world and there’s nothing we could have done to avoid this recession – it was beyond our control. If the Conservatives had been in power, there would’ve been even greater deregulation.

      2) Labour is actually planning to help the people hit by the recession.

I’m sure Labour are doing what they think will help, but even the Bank of England is turning around and saying they’ve done enough for the moment now. I don’t think there are many in power who would willingly damage their country…

Galloway Pride. Labour’s idea of helping people hit by recession is to fiddle around with tax credits. They are also more likely to help people in Labour heartlands than anywhere else. Witness the panic over Rover Cars, all those Brummy safe seats. Also, what if it had been Southern Rock, with a head office in Guildford. Baled out? Nah, let them go broke, no votes there!

Over the last 12 years what have Labour done to create jobs? Compare the manufacturing sector now, with the same in 1997. Labour has presided over the continued shrinkage of our national manufacturing capability. You’ve got to understand that what people want is a chance to make their way in the world not queue up for a taxpayer handout.

Brown is dangerous, the public know this, but we must suffer further for his madness. This government must be consigned to the dustbin for all our sakes. The predictions are that we – the UK – will have to wait until 2018 for the economy to get anywhere normal, and that’s only if PM GB and co are gone for good.

Gordon McRuin Broone was grinning like a fool because he is, like an Alkie, in total denial about whats going on. The Emporer is naked, and everyone with any intelligence can see that – but Pa Broone cannot. His Pals, Mandelprat, Har-person and others are all telling him ‘What a wonderful chap you are – Dear Leader’.

The comment about an old ‘Apparatchik’ are just about right as far as Brown is concered. Maybe he was smiling because he had just written Dan Hannan’s name down on his ‘Little List’ for those he wants ‘smeared’ by the Neues Liebore back-room stink tanks…. and ‘investigated’ by the security services.

I may be a bit of a cynic now, a bit ‘Victor Meldrew’ in my old age. But I for one, do not trust Brown or any of his Party creatures now. They are looking more and more like old time Eastern Bloc party hacks.

Maybe we will all wake up and find Pa Broone has tried to invoke the ‘Civil Contingencies Bill 2004′ to quash politcal oppostion soon. But this could trigger a parliamentry constitutional crisis if Brown is stupid enough to try this.

BBC bias mainly takes the form of “omission”. Will you ever honestly see Dan the Man publicly bitchslapping Brown on the BBC?

It is what they DO NOT report which proves their bias. It is their selective choice of words. It is their brazen attcks on Tory MPs, but going light on Labour MPs.

Even my wife now refers to it as Pravda, so sickening is its Labour sycophancy, and cannot be bothered to watch BBC news at all.

One quote sums up the whole BBC:

“I do remember… the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I’ll always remember that”,

His policies taxed and spent capital, hence ensuring that it will even harder for us to work our way out of this mess. His policies abandoned sound money and created a massive inflationary bubble. Sadly for Brown it’s not the same playing field at Westminster. The Labour GFB’s have broken with 1,000 years of bi-partisan-ship to install a lard-faced imbecile as ‘speaker’. A GFB whose fat, tax-payer subsidised face glows red in the defence of his gob-shite party leader. The ‘speakers’ own seat guaranteed by convention while he shields the Maximum Imbecile from the kind of three minute character assassination he so richly deserves.

I have long held the view that Cameron shouldn’t ask any questions. He should do a ‘Hamman’. Pose a single thirty minute fillibustering diatribe (masquerading as a ‘question’) and eviscerate the evil, bed-blocking disgrace to democracy that is Gordon ‘the fucking imbecile’ Brown. This would have been a hell of a lot easier if this government of occupation hadn’t taken care to cut out all the old conventional checks and balances. Hell, even ‘Labour’ Betty Boothroyd wouldn’t have run blocker for such a self-evident fuckwit, self-harmer and economic berserker as Gordon Brown. Party loyalties aside.

It needs a true died-in-the-wool ‘What? Never before-has-a-boy-asked-for-more’ type workhouse superintendent to protect Brown from the righteous ire of the representatives of the British people. But in the pompous ‘Speaker’ Martin, Victorian garb and condescending Scottish (one-of-us) (imbecile) demeanour fucking rampant Brown has just the spoiler to any richly deserved evisceration.

Which is why Hamman looked good while Brown, in a superficially familiar situation (parliament, socialists-bed-wetters partout, fellow-travellers, what-could-go-wrong exposing himself to opposition politicians who won’t be shouted down by paid baying imbeciles) assumed that since he is the fucking saviour of the entire world (in his own fucked-up mind) that some speaker, somewhere, would protect him from any abuse about his mental state. Just like they do at home. As befits his fucking self-proclaimed status.

You know, the kind of ‘respect’ Robert Mugabe expects after years of serving up shit at home and then can’t get it into his fucking thick skull that outside the strict confines of his hermatically sealed Zimbabwean deathcamp and economic clusterfuck that the rest of the world thinks he’s a fucking lunatic. Same with Brown.

Having just searched through today’s Daily Mail I can find no mention of Hannan’s superb speech. Virtually the whole of page 4 is, however, devoted to Brown’s speech to the EU parliament. Can anyone out there explain this strange omission by a paper not usually bracketed with the BBC? Is Hannan’s speech mentioned elsewhere in the media or have we finally become just like North Korea?

I’m sad nobody in the wilder world will ever hear it. But not half as sad as I am that nobody in the wider world is hearing how, despite his ‘it wasnae me, nobody saw it coming’ protestations he was warned. Not by Dan Hannan, MEP. But by the fucking IMF. That world financial regulator he keeps banging on that we need is already there. And it was warning him in as polite diplomatic language as they could muster for years about his insane squandering and insane consumer debt.

That’s what makes my gums bleed with frustration. That he can give us all this poor put-upon performance that a ‘perfect storm’ of sheer bad luck and reckless borrowing on the part of everybody else but him has fucked up his financial utopia.

Bravo Dan Hannan. I like Cameron, I like the way he does things and I like what he stands for but at this stage in the game the goal is wide open to kick Labour firmly in the Jaffas on an almost hourly basis, yet the blows never seem to be knockout. This speech shows what our Prime Minister is all about and the Tories should take a long hard look at what this is made of. Labour were all over Major like a rash by 1996 and once the media got behind them in lampooning and vilifying our leaders then the die was cast. The BBC are never going to make it easy for the Tories so they must land the blows harder and faster each time.

Labour has bankrupted Britain and continues to bloat its client state even after the cupboard is bare. The Tories’ response is to get bogged down in Inheritance Tax and the 45% tax rate. Fuck that – it’s manna from Heaven for Labour and its disciples. Make that point that Gordon is like a compulsive gambler who can’t stop spending and that he’s doing it with our money. A simple, concise message is needed and Dan Hannan has provided one. Take note, Tory top brass.
