The small boat migrant Fayaz Khan who threatened to kill Nigel Farage in a TikTok last October, has been sentenced to five years in jail at Southwark Crown Court. Khan was also sentenced for entering the UK illegally having previously pleaded guilty to the offence. Farage said:

Reform’s Zia Yusuf and Green Party leader Zack Polanski locked horns in a fiery exchange on BBC Question Time last night. The self-styled “Green Populist” kicked things off with a wild accusation, claiming Farage had allied with a “Nazi” group:
“Nigel Farage, he joined forces with the Swedish Democrats in the European Parliament. This is a far-right Nazi group. They want to deport people not based on the colour of his skin, but from the places that they’ve come from. This is racism. It’s fascism and we should call it out.”
Yusuf hit back:
“[Polanski] literally made money by charging women on the promise that he could literally enlarge the size of their breasts by hypnotizing them. In Polanski’s version of Britain, it is legal to sell fentanyl, crack cocaine and heroin, but illegal to rent your flat out”

Kemi is pitching the Tories as the fiscally responsible party, arguing that Reform promising “free” stuff will only lead to further debt. When it comes to Nigel and Reform she said:

The Tory attack line on Reform that they are on the ‘Left’ is already beginning to unravel. Last night Shadow Housing Secretary James Cleverly declared that Farage was a “socialist“. This afternoon Shadow Energy Secretary Claire Coutinho refused to brand him with the same label. Asked at a Centre for Policy Studies’ fringe event whether Farage was a socialist, Claire dodged the question:
“The problem with Nigel is that you don’t know what he actually thinks about economics. He wants nationalisation, more welfare, which will require more tax and more spending. It’s important to me that we pass down an economy in good health that isn’t saddled with debt and I don’t know what that means to him, I don’t think it matters in the same way.”

Reform’s head of policy said on Times Radio:
“Two weeks ago, the authorities cut Nigel’s security detail by 75% and then we have seen the most extraordinary 48 hours of demonisation… The Parliamentary Security Department that is responsible for security in both houses, that frankly for inexplicable reasons, decided to materially downgrade Nigel Farage’s security. Those are the facts of the matter. And I think that they place into context everything that we have just seen. Now, again, I want to be very clear that donors have stepped in, thankfully, to shore up that security and make sure that Nigel is well protected… Keir Starmer is desperate, he knows he cannot beat Nigel Farage at the ballot box, so he’s resorted to the most extraordinary and frankly, nefarious means.”
