Corbynista ‘Bullying’ Forces Blair’s Mother-in-Law Out of Labour

The Stepmother of Cherie Blair is amongst the names of leading Labour members who have resigned from the party in West Yorkshire this week.

Steph Booth reportedly claims to have experienced bullying from other Labour Party members because of her family link to the most electorally successful Labour Prime Minister in history.

Corbynites not letting a fragile lead in the polls distract from their vital mission of pushing out the Blairites…

Lansman to Discuss Corbyn Anti-Semitism “Smears” in Tel Aviv

Momentum supremo Jon Lansman will tonight defend Jeremy Corbyn over the Labour Party’s anti-semitism scandal at an event in Tel-Aviv. Lansman will speak at the Tel-Aviv office of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, an organisation connected with Germany’s far-left party Die Linke. The promo reads:

“In Israel, the media often portrays Corbyn as a controversial figure. Israeli establishment politicians – including from the local Israeli Labour Party – launched a barrage of smears and accusations against him, assisted by uncritical journalists in the media. Both his positions on Israel and Palestine, as well as the question of antisemitism within his Party, featured prominently in the attempts to blacken his image.”

They seem to have forgotten Corbyn’s position that anti-Semitism is not a smear…

Tory Rat T-Shirt on “Momentum” Question Time

A bizarrely shouty crackers episode of BBC Question Time last night – even by its current standards – during which the audience was allowed to heckle and jeer questions on Grenfell and the situation on the Gaza border. One audience member quipped to the mob: “this is not a Momentum meeting”…

Meanwhile, in the close-up cuts, it emerged one audience member sitting behind a questioner had worn their “you’re never more than 10 feet from a Tory” t-shirt, emblazoned with a giant rat and anarchist logo. Political banners and signs are not allowed in the audience. After a series of controversies involving hardcore Labour activists posing as audience members on the show – including one veteran agitator who was ejected – the producers last year boasted of the programme’s “rigorous background checks” to ensure balance. Looks like some more basic checks might be in order…

Humiliation For Owen Jones’ “Unseat the Tories” Vanity Campaign

Owen Jones is blaming“the Labour Party” for failing to manage expectations ahead of their disastrous local election results. This was him yesterday telling his followers he was going to “unseat the Tories across London” in Barnet, Kensington, Westminster and Wandsworth. The Tories held Kensington, Westminster and Wandsworth and gained Barnet.

Owen took Sadiq Khan and Diane Abbott down to Wandsworth last night. Labour lost.

Before that he was in Westminster with the ever reliable Eddie Izzard, telling his followers that the Tories there “have the hedge fund managers. Labour has the people”. Labour lost. Either there are a lot more hedge fudge managers in Westminster than Owen bargained for, or the people voted Tory…

Next stop, getting the vote out in Barnet, where Labour were pinning their hopes on victory. The Tories gained the council from No Overall Control…

Then to Kensington, where despite the best efforts of Owen and Emma Dent Coad, voters chose the Tories again:

Owen also took his “unseat” campaign to Swindon, which the Tories held, Hillingdon, where the Tories increased their majority, and Portsmouth, where Labour failed to gain from NOC. Owen had planned an event in Plymouth but cancelled it. Plymouth is the only council Labour gained last night.

It has all served to make Owen even more unpopular among Labour colleagues:

Turns out his hyperbolic tweets were good for getting social media shares, but didn’t actually help Labour win anything. Owen is blaming Labour staff for failing to manage expectations, he should take responsibility for his disastrous vanity tour of defeat…

Long-Bailey Endorses Momentum Candidate Who Posted Terror Attack Slurs

Guido is running an ongoing series introducing you to the latest raft of Corbynista candidates. Voting closes tonight in the Momentum National Coordinating Group, where Rebecca Long-Bailey has endorsed Elizabeth Hayden as the “perfect choice”. Becky and Shadow Cabinet Office minister Jon Trickett are appearing on these flashy graphics to help Hayden get out the vote:

So, what are Hayden’s credentials to make her the “perfect choice” in the eyes of the Shadow Cabinet? Well, she was the subject of an official complaint from the Labour Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson when she posted this article which claimed “of course the timing of [the Manchester Arena attack] was highly beneficial” for the Tories:

Long-Bailey is a Manchester MP, which makes you wonder what her constituents would think…

Hayden tweeted during the Westminster terror attack that “righties saying it’s an Islamic extremist attack” made her laugh out loud:

And Hayden personally tried to stop Labour from carrying out an investigation into three of her local members accused of anti-Semitism. Hayden said Momentum supporters needed to come up with a “clear plan to stop the vote for an antisemitism investigation” at her Liverpool CLP. She seems nice…

Momentum’s Wannabe MP on Waitrose “Scum”, “Sh*t Jobs”, Marxist “Class Fighters” and Royal “Scroungers”

Recess seems like as good a time as any for Guido to introduce you to some of Labour’s newly selected Corbynista parliamentary candidates. Meet Momentum-backed Jane Aitchison, who has been selected to fight Pudsey, where Tory MP Stuart Andrew has a majority of 331. The Yorkshire Post have already reported that Aitchison deleted a tweet in which she called Prince Charles “benefit scrounging scum”. Not yet deleted from her Twitter feed are posts calling Waitrose shoppers “scum“, a Labour donor “scum” (sensing a theme here), labelling the Royal Family “lazy scroungers”, enjoying a Russian TV programme calling the Royals Nazis, praising Marxists as “the best class fighters” and saying 115,000 McDonald’s employees in Britain have “sh*t jobs” selling “sh*t food”.

She seems nice. Like a poundshop Pudsey Pidcock…
