Find Out if GCHQ Spied on You

Earlier this year the Investigatory Powers Tribunal, the only judicial body with the power to investigate MI5, MI6 and GCHQ, ruled that GCHQ had acted illegally when they secretly accessed surveillance from US National Security Agency programs to spy on British citizens. At the time, human rights campaigners Privacy International launched a campaign that offered an take a joint case, on behalf of anyone who wanted to find out if GCHQ had illegally spied on them, to the IPT. 15,000 people signed up, but the IPT insisted they couldn’t take a joint application. It’s almost like they don’t want to release the information…

Fortunately for privacy concious Netizens, there is another way to squeeze blood from the IPT stone – a new campaign gives you all the information you need to make a claim against GCHQ yourself. If you are a British and you reasonably think your communications were intercepted by GCHQ prior to December 2014, you can make the security service’s day here
