Two years after the grand opening of Westminster station’s Greggs bakery, the long-hibernating politicos favourite has finally opened its doors once more. From this morning Westminster workers can pop down and grab themselves a bacon and cheese wrap or a vegan sausage roll if they happen to be a socialist. DWP Secretary Therese Coffey has already told the world of her team’s delight at the news. Guido hopes to see The Times’ Grant Tucker back swiftly to celebrate the shop’s second official opening…

The Greggs at Westminster Station has sold out of their all new vegan sausage roll, within just hours of it being on sale. The pastry was so popular with the Westminster elite that they had all been snapped up before 9am. They’ll be selling Avocados next…

Greggs are at risk of losing their sound Northern soul, after this morning announcing the newest addition to their offering, the vegan sausage roll. At least their slick launch video is worth a watch…
UPDATE: Angela Rayner has weighed in on the great vegan sausage roll debate… on the side of Piers Morgan. Guido isn’t sure that going after Labour’s new core vote of university city vegans will do wonders for her future leadership hopes…
UKIP’s astute new leader has fallen for joke twitter account called “GuardianMemeWin“. The account describes itself as “the most insufferable newspaper parody account ever” in its twitter bio. Batten’s analysis was retweeted by the official UKIP twitter account…
Beleaguered Batten is not the only one to have fallen foul of a fake account. Yesterday evening CCHQ retweeted a fake, unverified Philip Hammond account. It even spelled his first name incorrectly…
After making that mistake too many times Guido tends to block parody accounts…
Westminster Greggs’ regular patrons have been left stunned and appalled yesterday evening after they were faced by an officious blockade of water bottles and a sign informing them that the popular new eatery had closed for the rest of the day “due to the extreme heat”. They were baking in there.
Where will Guido pick up his piping hot sausage roll now??
