Corbyn tells the BBC:
“Completely wrong, he should never have said it, completely unacceptable comments. He has apologised, I’ve been in touch with him, he’s been in touch with me to apologise personally to me and it’s a message to everybody that this kind of language is not acceptable in any circumstances, any time.”
Though since Clive has spent the day liking tweets defending him, doesn’t sound like he means his apology.

Inexplicable. Inexcusable. Dismayed. https://t.co/ZayhciCphU

Just seen the Clive Lewis video. Obviously I am appalled, just listened to 7 teenage girls speak up about gender inequality. Perhaps I’ll bring them to work on monday

Its not ok. Even if meant as joke, reinforces menace that men have the physical power to force compliance- time for https://t.co/YA2W2wME93. https://t.co/lvv0eoDiRA

Agree w Jess. No excuse for saying this, whatever context. https://t.co/Sq0krWTeBx

Clive still hasn’t said sorry for this. Looks pretty bad…

Latest from the Corbynista brocialists – a video has emerged of Clive Lewis on stage at a Momentum event telling an audience member “Get on your knees, b*tch”. Don’t let Harriet Harman hear you talk like that…
UPDATE: Tory MP Mims Davies says this is “astounding inappropriate language” and calls for Clive to be sent on an “urgent training course”.
UPDATE II: This is going down very badly. Nus Ghani condemns Lewis for “Disgusting sexist attitudes” and asks Jess Phillips, Yvette Cooper and Harriet Harman: “Whose side are you on? Do you stand with him?”
UPDATE III: Women2Win’s Resham Kotecha: “There is *NO* context where this language & connotations are ok. We’re fighting for equality in politics & you talk like this?!” Greg Hands adds: “There’s always been an unpleasant misogynism in the Hard Left, but this is particularly repellent from a senior Labour MP.”

A Czech nuclear power plant operator has apologised for using a bikini contest to choose its next intern. Power generation conglomerate CEZ had 10 bikini-clad high school graduates pose in a cooling tower of its Temelin nuclear power plant with the most popular following a Facebook vote winning a 14 day internship at the plant. A local TV station covered the finals:

In a press release CEZ likened the photoshoot to its previous cultural enrichment programs, such as hosting the Bohemian Philharmonic at the plant in South Bohemia. They said the experience was greatly enjoyed by the girls, who were required for safety reasons to wear hard hats and enclosed shoes at all times in the Czech Republic’s largest power station.
Gaia thinks this is yet another terrible case of everyday sexism…
The Class War representative on the Daily Politics took his life into his own hands when he bravely decided to call Julia-Hartley Brewer “sweetheart“. Apparently he said something much ruder to her off air too. And then claimed he supported the Suffragettes. Everyday sexism…
At one point he said he was homeless, later he said he left the Guy Fawkes protest and “went home” because it was boring. Strange.
UPDATE:
My little class war chum @Classwar2015 was even more delightful off air @daily_politics with @afneil. He told me to f**k off! #stayclassy
