A former Labour parliamentary candidate who was twice suspended from the party for anti-Semitic comments is now working for Unite as a regional officer. Guido can reveal that Vicki Kirby has been hired by Len McCluskey’s trade union despite her notorious history of anti-Semitic statements. In 2014 Kirby was ditched as a Labour PPC after a string of disturbing tweets where she suggested Hitler is the “Zionist God”:
Kirby was Vice Chair of Woking Labour Party, and refused to step down even as she was reported to the police by a fellow party official. She was suspended for a second time following another Guido story…
Now Kirby is understood to be working for Unite, based in the union’s South East regional office. Kirby was contacted multiple times and put the phone down on Guido when we attempted to speak to her. A Unite spokesman said: “We do not comment on staffing matters.” Remarkable that Unite won’t comment on this woman being on their payroll…
UPDATE: Guido understands Kirby has now left Unite. A Unite spokesman said: “While do not comment on staffing matters as a matter of course, Vicki Kirby is not employed by Unite.”
Vicki Kirby has been suspended from the Labour Party for a second time following our story on her yesterday. A Labour spokesman says:
“Vicki Kirby has been suspended from the Labour Party pending an investigation.”
Two Labour extremists suspended in six days following stories from Guido’s anti-extremism Labour Party vetting service…
Race row Vicki Kirby has been referred to the police by Labour Police and Crime Commissioner candidate Kevin McKeever. He says:
Vicky Kirby comments may well breach race relations and public order laws, which is why I've complained to @SurreyPolice

24 hours since Guido told Labour they have a CLP chair who is an ISIS conspiracy theorist and a vice-chair who says Jews have “big noses”, they have still taken no action…

Labour MP Wes Streeting speaks to Iain Dale about the Vicki Kirby race row on LBC:
“Today I’ve had messages from party members who have cut up their membership cards… I’ve had constituents write to me asking: ‘what on Earth is going on? Is there still a place for Jews in the Labour party?’ I think Jeremy really does need to be proactive at this stage. I think he’s got to now stamp on it… I’m actually in Berlin at the moment at an international conference tackling antisemitism. It feels pretty embarrassing being a British Labour MP at this conference given what seems to be a pretty poor approach to tackling antisemitism ourselves.”
As of 7pm tonight Kirby is still a Labour members and still the vice chair of the Woking Labour Party…
Any anti-Semite found to be in Labour needs to be booted out on the spot. The end.

No place for anti-semites in the Labour Party. In selfies however…
Vicki Kirby’s boyfriend Barry Faulkner is the chair of Woking Labour. His Facebook posts give an insight into what the couple discuss over the dinner table. In one post, made after Kirby’s suspension from the Labour Party, Faulkner sends her a link to a video titled “ISIS exposed 100% as CIA operation”, commenting “worth a look at some of this Vicki Kirby”.
In another post to his girlfriend, who is also known as Vicky McCluskey, the chair of Woking Labour jokes that she shouldn’t comment on a news article about plans to tackle online anti-Semites:
Faulkner and Kirby – the chair and vice-chair of Woking Labour – have been publicly sharing content suggesting ISIS is a CIA conspiracy and joking about their own anti-Semitism. Crucially, this happened after Kirby was suspended by Labour, so can be seen as “new evidence”. Will they act against Faulkner, a CLP chair, and his girlfriend?
