Investors could soon have the chance to capitalise on the inside knowledge of US politicians, as two ETFs are set to launch. The two funds, dubbed NANC and KRUZ in honour of Nancy Pelosi and Ted Cruz, track the trades of Democrat and Republican politicians respectively. The investment opportunity is only made possible by the failure of US lawmakers to pass bipartisan reforms to ban congressional trading. No conflict of interest there…
The move comes amidst scrutiny of congressional trading, with over $290 million being spent in 2021, and could prove lucrative considering congressional trades outperformed the market last year. Co-conspirators curious of capital movements on Capitol Hill can also track congressional trades at Capitoltrades. This article does not constitute financial advice…
US gossip site Deadspin has been needling Ted Cruz about basketball ever since he called a hoop a “basketball ring“ at a campaign rally when he was running against Trump in the Republican primaries. They were incredulous as to the authenticity of his affection for basketball. So when Politico reported that he’d started a regular weekly basketball session with Republican senators like Marco Rubio they demanded photographic* proof:

Good comeback to cheap abuse and good use of a popular internet meme. Even better if you fully understand the joke. A slam dunk for the senator…
Looks like only Hillary can stop Trump making America great again…
Donlad Trump and Hillary Clinton have emerged as the winners from Super Tuesday. The Republican race has seen the Donald already win 7 out of 10 states currently declared. Hillary has also won 7 states in the Democratic contest, compared to Bernie Sanders’ 4.
UPDATE: Hillary has a negative approval rating of -1%, Trump has net approval rating of -25%. His unfavourability is worse than Richard Nixon’s. After Watergate.
How the Donald turns that around remains to be seen…
