Former Labour MP Pickets Care Home

Former High Peak MP Ruth George is now a councillor building up a reputation for inappropriate picketing, first outside her victor’s constituency surgery, and yesterday outside the entrance to a care home in her council ward; leafleting and “accosting staff” as they went in to start their shifts. Guido is informed “the staff at the care home are really upset and the council who run the care home are fuming and looking into options to act against her.”

The story gets worse when, during a county council Zoom call later that evening, George was heard persistently coughing throughout her presentation. Ironically, Ruth’s care home letter was about her efforts to try and keep Coronavirus out of the care home…

Defeated Labour MP Pickets Opponent’s Constituency Surgery

Whilst losing your job on live television isn’t easy, Guido would expect any rational adult to get over their defeat over a month and a half on from the election. It seems Ruth George, the former MP for High Peak, is finding it difficult to come to terms with early retirement and is still turning up to constituency surgeries – this time to picket residents trying to speak to their new MP.

The new MP – Robert Largan – called the move “just a bit weird” when George and other High Peak Labour activists turned up to his Saturday surgery being held at the local Mechanics Institute to get petition signatories against the closure of local care homes; with Robert reiterating he holds the surgeries for the benefit of the most vulnerable in his constituency. In one photo Ruth proudly stood in front of a notice board showing local events and activities, which might provide some ideas of more appropriate pass-times for her to take up next weekend…

Labour MP Uses Severely Injured Climber for Grinning Photo Op

Labour’s Ruth George taken to Facebook to post a bizarre picture of herself grinning next to a seriously injured climber who had fallen off a cliff and was in a condition severe enough to involve a stretcher. Not a laughing matter surely?

Wow, just finished a very hectic 14.5 hour shift with these amazing paramedics – Bruce and Jamie At Buxton Ambulance Station. A chance to see all of our emergency services at work today with call-outs in Chapel, a house fire on Fairfield Road in Buxton and finally a climber who’d fallen from a cliff in Stoney Middleton. Needed Mountain Rescue to stretcher him out and they were there in no time with lots of skilled and experienced people to help.

Previously Ruth suggested that Change UK was being funded by Israel, and compared Amber Rudd to Hitler. Having another totally normal one today…

Labour MP Suggests Labour Split Group Is Funded By Israel

Labour MP Ruth George has said that she will not condemn Labour members who assert that the new TIG group of former Labour MPs, fronted by Jewish MP Luciana Berger, is funded by the state of Israel. She was backing up a local councillor who has been posting multiple conspiracy theories about the group on social media…

“Support from the State of Israel… is possible and I would not condemn those who suggest it.”

Previously George was best known for comparing Amber Rudd to Hitler.

Days since the last Labour anti-Semitic incident… 0.

New Labour MP Compared Amber Rudd to Hitler

New Labour MP Ruth George has tried to distance herself from her own Twitter account after the BBC dug up old posts comparing Amber Rudd to Hitler. The new High Peak MP claims the tweets were sent without her knowledge; her ‘spokesman’ says they were sent by “a very passionate campaign volunteer“. Such charming views expressed include calling Amber Rudd “Mein Fuhrer”. Contrary to the denials, the account profile says tweets were sent by George herself. Calibre of new Labour MPs depressingly uninspiring so far…
