Following Labour MP Naz Shah’s call for the mass “transportation“ of Israelis out of the Middle East, her Labour colleague John Mann tells Guido:
“The last person to propose a forced repatriation of this kind was Adolph Eichmann on August 15 in 1940 (the Madagascar plan).”
He adds that Shah should attend events “in order to learn about anti Semitism and the impact on people’s lives”. Shah is John McDonnell’s PPS, what does the Shadow Chancellor have to say about this?
A very curt statement from Naz Shah on Guido’s revelations that she called for the mass “transportation” of Israelis out of the Middle East:
“This post from two years ago was made before I was an MP, does not reflect my views and I apologise for any offence it has caused.”
An apology for offence caused isn’t an apology. Shah sits on the Home Affairs Committee currently leading an inquiry into anti-Semitism…
A Labour MP has argued Israel should be “relocated” to America and praised the “transportation costs” of deporting Israeli Jews out of the Middle East. Naz Shah, who defeated George Galloway in Bradford West, shared a highly inflammatory graphic arguing in favour of the chilling “transportation” policy two years ago, adding the words “problem solved”. As these stories go, it is at the more controversial end of the scale…
The post argued the “solution” to the Israel-Palestine conflict is to “relocate Israel into the United States”, claiming the “transportation costs” of deporting Israelis would be “less than 3 years of defense spending”. Shah agreed, arguing it would “save them some pocket money“. You don’t have to be a history expert to see how incendiary these comments are…
Last night Shah confirmed to Guido that she was responsible for the posts. She says she is sorry and will be making a full apology in a statement, which has yet to arrive. She insists the comments were made before she was an MP and says her views on Israel have moderated over the last two years. This will be a difficult one for Corbyn – Labour members have been suspended from the party for less…
Labour MPs attended a gender segregated rally in Oldham last night, with photos released from the meeting clearly showing Muslim women and men being seated seperately. The event was hosted by the Labour affiliated group Labour Friends of Bangladesh, in support of Jim McMahon, the party’s candidate in the upcoming by-election. A wide selection of Labour MPs and officials attended, including the candidate Jim McMahon, Naz Shah, Angela Rayner, Khalid Mahmood, Rushanara Ali, Shabana Mahmood and Debbie Abrahams. Abrahams states in in her twitter biography that she is interested in “inequalities”. Although Guido presumes this doesn’t include gender inequalities…

Readers will be well aware that this isn’t the first, or even second, time senior Labour figures have attended gender segregated rallies. When will Labour come out and denounce this gender apartheid?
George Galloway last night attacked his Labour opponent Naz Shah over whether she was 15 or 16 when she was raped. Somewhat makes Michael Fallon’s comments pale into insignificance…
This is Naz Shah, the second choice Labour candidate selected to fight George Galloway in Bradford West following a week of internal ructions that resulted in the previous candidate withdrawing from the seat. Shah describes herself as “an award winning campaigner, activist, community champion and inspirational speaker”.
and the Bradford revolution begins, In Sha Allah 🙂 http://t.co/qohgUYrlZ7

Attempts to run a duff candidate are defeated…
