After years of wrangling between at least four countries, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has finally walked out of prison. The plea deal is expected to be finalised in a court in the Northern Mariana Islands, a US territory, on Wednesday – Assange’s plane landed in Bangkok this morning. A video on WikiLeaks’ X page shows Assange getting into a private jet yesterday along with a lengthy caption of thanks to the “global campaign” to free Assange.
