Labour are very pleased with themselves for beating off competition from UKIP to snap up Ian Warren – Twitter’s @election_data – as their data guru for the election. Judging by their big new hire’s verdict on Miliband’s speech to Labour conference, he will fit right in:

Warren will work at Labour headquarters one day a week helping party strategists analyse key seats ahead of the election. Looks like he will have no trouble making friends:
