Corbynista Complaint to Iain McNicol Revealed

Corbyn supporters are being encouraged to lodge official complaints about Labour moderates to party general secretary Iain McNicol. This is the template doing the rounds in Corbynista circles of a letter that has already been filed to Labour HQ, dobbing in Simon Danczuk, Frank Field and Emily Benn:

Hello Iain,

I urge you as General Secretary of the Labour Party to instigate disciplinary action against the following members:-

Emily Benn, for urging people to join another political party, namely the Women’s Equality Party – a clear act of support for that party and in contravention of the rules Chapter 2, clause 1 4 B;

Frank Field MP, for urging Labour MPs not re-selected in a process provided for under the Labour Party rules, to resign as MPs to force a by-election and stand as independent candidates against Labour candidates, which is clearly indicates a refusal to accept and conform to the constitution of the Labour Party in contravention of the rules Chapter 2, clause 1 6 A;

Simon Danczuk MP, for sustained attacks against the Leader of the Labour Party notably in his column in the Daily Mail, conduct which is clearly prejudicial to the party and consisting of acts which are grossly detrimental to the party in contravention of the rules Chapter 2 clause 1 8.

I would be grateful if you could acknowledge receipt of this email and inform me of the result of your considerations in light of the complaints about the members listed above and the result of your deliberations.

Many thanks.

In solidarity
