Guido’s revelations that Beinazir Lasharie has been readmitted to Labour isn’t the only anti-Semitism story doing the rounds today. Khadim Hussain, a Labour councillor in Bradford, shared a post to Facebook claiming “Your school education system only tells you about Anne Frank and the six million Zionists that were killed” and posted inflammatory links about Israel supporting ISIS. Full story over at Jewish News.

The Times meanwhile has found former Left Unity activist John Tummon, who says ISIS has “progressive potential”, is back in the Labour Party. That’s three stories of the same theme broken just in time for PMQs…

UPDATE: Khadim Hussain has been suspended from the Labour Party.

Beinazir Lasharie responds to our story this morning by confirming she is still a Labour councillor and claiming that the party’s investigation cleared her:

Labour HQ are spinning that Lasharie is “still suspended“, yet today she is on the Kensington council website as a Labour councillor and Kensington Labour say she was reinstated in December. Kensington Labour confirm in writing:

“She’s the Labour Cllr for Notting Dale.”

So she clearly isn’t suspended in any way. Will they kick her out?

A Labour councillor who was suspended for writing that “Jews” were behind 9/11 and ISIS has been reinstated to the party. In October, Beinazir Lasharie, a Corbynista Labour councillor in Kensington, was suspended pending investigation after Guido exposed her extreme conspiracy theories. Lasharie had posted a video on Facebook titled “ISIS: Israeli Secret Intelligence Service”, and commented:

“Many people know about who was behind 9/11 and also who is behind ISIS. I’ve nothing against Jews… just sharing it!”

She also wrote: “I’ve heard some compelling evidence about ISIS being originated from Zionists!”, and when Guido asked her to explain her comments, she told us:

“I don’t know what to believe any more. I’ve seen compelling evidence that links Zionists to ISIS.”

Labour swiftly suspended her and launched an investigation.

Yet today Lasharie is front and centre of the profile picture for the Kensington Labour Party Twitter feed:

Kensington Labour tell Guido that Lasharie is once again “the Labour Cllr for Notting Dale” and confirm that, following an investigation, her suspension was lifted in December. This is the most difficult story yet for the party to explain – why was she let back in after they investigated her extremist rants? Labour’s anti-Semitism problem gets a whole lot worse…

Labour have suspended councillor Beinazir Lasharie following Guido’s story in the Sun on Sunday. A Labour spokesman confirms:

“Councillor Lasharie has been suspended pending investigation.”
