The High Court has blocked another legal challenge to Brexit from British Influence’s arch-Remainer Peter Wilding and Tory eccentric Adrian Yalland. Their campaign to keep Britain in the single market asked judges to rule that parliament must separately give permission before the government can pull out of the European Economic Area (EEA). It failed. These Remainers like losing their money…
Yesterday’s Sunday Times splashed on news of a fresh Brexit court case seeking to keep Britain in the single market. The claimant trying to frustrate Brexit is Adrian Yalland, an eccentric Tory PR man who once admitted to biting a man in a bloody brawl. Yalland was arrested in 2014 for his involvement in a fracas in which a man suffered a nasty bite wound, pictured above. At the time Yalland told Guido that he only bit the man in self-defence and claimed it was he who was the victim. In the end charges were not pressed. Yalland wants a soft, fleshy Brexit but with this court case has he finally bitten off more than he can chew?
