Ben Habib’s Advance UK candidate in the Gorton & Denton by-election has some choice deep dives on his Substack blog. The best one is called “The Continuous Sexual Abuse Of Men” from 2021…
Nick Buckley MBE is a former charity worker who was Reform’s candidate for Mayor of Greater Manchester in 2021. In his 2021 blog:
“Men are being abused every minute of every day in the UK. It starts when they are young through TV, music videos and female celebrities. It is constant and only gets worse as they get older. Men are being groomed into this abuse, but upsettingly, they do not see it as abuse. Someone must speak out and raise awareness of this manipulative and coercive practice.
Who is to blame? The answer is simple. The answer is young beautiful women.”
He goes on in some detail:
“As a man, I have been made to feel uncomfortable on hundreds of occasions because of the outfit worn by a woman. Large ripe breasts on display barely contained by the fabric of a dress. Splits on dresses that take the eye on a journey up a smooth leg, beyond the thigh and to the bare flesh of a hip. Leggings so tight that a shapely pudendum can be admired. The sneaky thong peeking above the waistline of a tight pair of jeans. And who can forget the fixation of rock hard nipples poking through a thin t-shirt when a sudden chill hits. It is commonly accepted that most abusers do not see themselves as abusers.”
Buckley informs readers of the ‘gadgets’ women deploy:
“To keep this abuse moving forward, women are now purchasing aids and gadgets to help in this maltreatment. We all know about the boom in cosmetic surgery and breast implants – lies can be expensive. But did you know that some women now buy plastic hard nipples to wear in their bras? Others buy padded contraptions for in their knickers to give the impression of a wonderfully formed pudendum, aka, a camel toe. Google this – I have not made it up.”
Advance UK and Rupert Lowe’s new party Restore Britain are causing a stir on in those areas to the right of Reform. Lowe and Ben Habib have been bickering on X about who should subsume themselves into whom. Farage continues to make studious attempts to ignore them. Buckley declares towards the end of his sermon: “I do not stuff socks into my underwear to increase the bulge.” A sigh of relief from voters in Gorton & Denton…
Speaking on Times Radio, former Home Secretary David Blunkett spoke about overdiagnosis of mental problems:
“Let’s distinguish those who are really severely mentally ill, diagnosed with things that require prolonged medical and diagnostic treatment. My wife and I talk about this a lot, because she’s a retired GP, about the fact that you can be sad without being ill. You can be momentarily depressed because your boyfriend or girlfriend’s just thrown you and you’re not mentally ill. You can even have mild issues, which can be dealt with with the right kind of support, but it doesn’t make you mentally ill. So we’ve got a real task, I think, to get the psychology, if you like, of this over. But there are things where you definitely need medical intervention, and there are other things where you need good friends, you need good connectivity, and you need a job.”
