Despite Starmer’s endless boasts that deportations are up under Labour, latest Home Office figures show returns of small boat arrivals have actually dropped. In the year ending March 2025, there were 2,240 returns of people who came via small boats. A 3% decrease compared to the previous year…
Of the 29,867 total returns since Labour took office, only 8,511 were asylum-related. That’s less than a third. Meanwhile, the Channel crisis rolls on. As of yesterday, this year’s small boat crossings have hit 13,300 – up more than 40% on the same point last year. Labour’s claim that they are cracking down on small boats doesn’t wash with these figures…
