The Department for Transport has today announced a series of draconian new measures set to hike the cost and limit the number and convenience of rental e-bikes in Britain’s cities. Is Burnham going to do anything of any use in power?
The measures are included in a consultation launched by Burnham’s government on e-bike operators:
Obviously all the councils’ first instinct will be to go as draconian as possible. Thereby ruining the whole point of the e-bikes…
In a pointed quote Bolt said “98% of Bolt rides already end with a correctly parked bike, which shows what clear rules and effective management can achieve.” Enforced by the companies themselves perfectly effectively…
Krishnan Guru-Murthy asked John Healey: “Just finally, I mean Andy Burnham has been very clear he wants Britain back in the European Union in his lifetime. Do you?”
The Chancellor replied: “I’m older than Andy Burnham. I don’t expect to see that.”
