The IEA’s Editorial Director Kristian Niemietz is departing the think tank in December. After an impressive eighteen year stint…
“I know this isn’t LinkedIn, but nonetheless, some professional news. After 18 years, five books, three dozen papers and thousands of articles, presentations, podcasts, videos, media appearances etc etc – I am leaving the IEA in a few weeks’ time. I am, however, neither joining Novara Media, nor the Guardian, nor SOAS. I am not starting a podcast with Gary Stevenson either. I’ll continue to promote extremely uncool, cringey low-status opinions in other ways. Watch this space.”
Guido asked Niemietz if that meant he would still frequent the MoG after this transition. The answer was simply a laughing emoji, so that’s a maybe. Prost!
Robert Jenrick on the Today programme:
“Can you now give a guarantee to your listeners this morning that no BBC presenter in the future will be exposed as a paedophile, as a number have been in the recent past? No, of course you can’t…”
