He also left the Guardian in financial strife following his two decades long tenure resulting in significant job losses at the paper, with the paper racking up losses of nearly £20 million in his final year as editor. Spare a thought for Rusbridger, though ,whose podcast he co-presented with former FT editor Lionel Barber for Prospect recently got the axe as part of cost cutting. Oh well, never mind…
