Something of a meltdown in the Restore Britain corners of X – where the party’s leading figures are found – after Rupert Lowe was not sufficiently nativist. Oh dear…
In an interview with American podcaster Patrick Bet-David, Lowe said: “a multicultural society – which have no problem with if people integrate and accept the laws and culture of the people they come to live amongst.”
Some of the biggest Restore accounts are in meltdown. Activist Steve Laws said: “Rupert needs to: Apologise for his attack on the party membership. Stop the boomer nonsense he’s waffling in interviews.”
Podcaster Connor Tomlinson chimed in: “Multiculturalism has not worked, will never work, and was never wanted. Same goes for integration. It hasn’t happened, will not happen, and means nothing if it amounts to people living in ethno-cultural ghettos so long as they obey the law and pay tax. Avoid all talk of either.” The revolution eats itself…
Speaking at his speech on how to achieve “progressive capitalism” Wes Streeting fired a dig and Andy Burnham:
“Bond markets are not bond villains and fiscal rules matter.”
