The Greens have showed up to Jenrick and Lee Anderson’s constituency fuel cut stunt in a diesel-guzzling car. No appetite for a short bike ride?
Reform’s Anderson located the Green vehicle – a Volkswagen Passat TDI – parked surreptitiously far from the protest. Plus ca change…

The stunt is as follows as per Reform:
“The Gulf/Spar garage in Lowdham will slash its prices by 13p a litre for petrol and 16p for diesel tomorrow.
The price reduction is the same as the saving from halving VAT on fuel to 10%, which Reform has called on the Chancellor to implement for three months as an emergency response to the war.
The one-day reduction is being paid for by the local businessman who owns this Nottinghamshire garage and forecourt. The move follows similar cuts organised by Reform UK in Derbyshire and Kent.”

Maybe the Greens are planning to pop into the garage to fill up on the cheap after a spot of protesting. Can they resist the savings…
The day after Starmer U-turned and refused to blame Trump for the war Rachel Reeves told the Mirror:
“Obviously no sensible person is a supporter of the Iranian regime, but to start a conflict without being clear what the objectives are and not being clear about how you are going to get out of it, I do think that is a folly and it is one that is affecting families here in the UK but also families in the US and around the world.”
