Danny Kruger is the latest Tory defector to Reform. He will lead the party’s new ‘preparing for government’ unit. Speaking at Reform’s press conference this morning, Kruger said:
“The Conservative Party is over… it is over as a national party, and over as the principle opposition to the left… We are planning change on a scale that the system has not seen since the modern civil service was created in the 19th century…”
Kruger is a serious player who has been a central voice in policy development on topics from immigration to national security. He is also the first sitting shadow minister to jump ship. A real coup for Reform…
Former leader of the SNP in Westminster Ian Blackford told Times Radio why he believes Nicola Sturgeon’s claim that she spent no time in the kitchen and therefore didn’t see any of her husband’s purchases:
“She doesn’t have a passion for cooking.”
