They’re now hiring an ‘Assistant Head’ for the ‘Diversity and Inclusion Team’ on a whopping £59,690, tasked with being “the D&I rep at several internal network forums and cross-government meetings” , “developing D&I policies and delivering the D&I portfolio” and providing oversight for the D&I team monthly team meetings.” The lucky recruit will also get £17,292 towards their gold-plated pension. The advert notes: “This is an exciting and bold time to be working in D&I. We are under significant scrutiny and regularly draft notes for ministers at great pace.” An exciting time to work in diversity for that pay package indeed…
